Excellent video Russ. The Western states have unbelievable beauty.

Hubby and I have only lived in AZ three years so just getting the lay of the land so to speak. I especially enjoy seeing all these interesting places to visit. Great scenery. Fabulous job of going there and taking the video Russ. Many thanks!

Loved the aerial view over the Cactus. Flowers were awesome! Thank you.

My grandparents lived in Pumkin Center (Tonto Basin). Spent many a day playing in Tonto Creek and fishing in Roosevelt Lake. Great video. Thanks for the memories. The saguaro cactus blossom is the state flower of AZ.
-
Good news about full recovery for reservoirs and cooler weather. Those cactus flowering crowns just something wouldnāt have thought about.. drone view was super!
-
Awesome closeup of the bees and the cactus flowers

Used to go out there by street bike or Jeep about once every other week back in the late 90's. On the back road into Mesa you would quite often have cattle and/or horses plodding on the highway. The dam has a number of claims to fame on the historical marker š

Thank you Russ for this and all your videos! It's been 35 years since we travelled there so many memories you bring back to us. We drove to the dam then to Tortilla Flats and camped there a few times was a nice drive where we bought burgers and lemon pie. We miss the travells, thanks again .

WOW ! Your pictures of the Saguaros in bloom are terrific ! You definitely got an eye for beauty. RICHARD

More and more memories. I drove the Apache trail way back when it was mostly a dirt road. The excitement never ends.
-
I was up there in april camping for a week. I parked right where you did by the bridge over look and walked under the bridge and caught to catfish one day. I see the water was up even more than when i was there. That property below the marina is private land only for members now. We used to camp down there for a small fee and use the boat ramp .

Hi Russ, Iāve always loved driving in Arizona, weāve been to many places in the mountains, been on rides in rural areas, went on boat rides along the Colorado River! Payson has been an interesting little place to visit! Our last trip was to Tucson, also visited Tombstone!
