Take a shot for every bot that comments and then go play ranked ๐

Most important tip for new players that you left out is learning and memorizing what us long term players call "the sacred trinity of blame". If you're losing, it's important to shift blame for the loss on your teammates as fast as possible. However the blame only flows in one direction. DPS can only blame Tanks, Supports blame DPS and tanks blame the enemy tank's choice of hero.

Step 1: play vs AI until you understand a few characters button layout. Step 2: try your luck in quick play Step 3: comp only once you get a grasp on all character match ups

For all OW2 new players: you'll hear a lot of toxicity, but you'll also see and experience amazing stuff. When you first save your teammate by pulling them or when your ult wins the team fight and you win the game thanks to it! Or when your team played so well together that you all want to stay as a group. Ignore the toxic, have fun and be patient climbingโค

I've been playing Overwatch since 2016 and my biggest tips are to not care about your rank and make your number one concern having fun and you'll be ranked accordingly. A lot of people make the mistake of only caring about ranking up and when they don't, they hate play Overwatch and that's the worst thing you can do because video games are supposed to be fun. Honestly I would just permanently turn off voice chat, It's more toxic than it is good, just learn to use the ping system.

That first game with Sombra, at 360p is exactly how my game looks. It's easier to headshot the bots than a character at that screen quality ๐ I've tested it in the Practice Range. Shot the two bots and then Tracer-had to shoot her twice and adjust my aim. (It's also an innate aiming problem of course but being unable to identify a hero at sight seems problematic.)
