I spent 60 years absolutely convinced that I could never learn to paint(I have almost no depth perception) and so I never tried until a few months ago. In December I sustained a traumatic brain injury which didn’t help, but I know now that even I can learn and your beginner tutorials are wonderful, simplistic and yet so intricate and beautiful. This project here is going to be my first watercolour thank-you card to give to a friend. Thank you so much for inspiring me. It feels like you’re here with me, guiding me along each step!❤

This is a great demonstration! I so appreciate how you don't skip steps and go slow enough that I can actually follow it. I've been frustrated by so many videos where they race through it. In fact, I was about to give it up, but I'm going to try this for sure. Thank you!!

Thank you for keeping a slow pace and explaining all the details. Love this tutorial. Even though you made it look easy I'm sure I't will take a lot of practice to even begin to get those layers. Beautiful!

So lovely and delicate. I can't wait to try these. Also, I love you playing your own music in the background. It's so soothing and calming. Would make a lovely lullaby. <3 And thanks so much for the greenery tips!!!

Love the closeups. Not enough creators do this but it is so useful to understand what’s happening on paper.
  • That was incredible to watch. Thank you.I am going to try this

You always manage to do better every week. Watching you paint and listening to that soothing piano music is like therapy. I will be trying this over the weekend. Take care, Liesl, and enjoy your weekend. 🖌🩷x
