Japanese Culture: Making Washi (Japanese Paper)

On a trip to the source of the Shiragawa river (白川水源) in Kumamto-ken (熊本県) in Minami Aso (南阿蘇), I made washi (和紙), Japanese paper, for the first time. Watch the experience from the use of pure clean water, mixing the pulp, and finally the decoration of the paper itself.

It was a fun and easy process that everyone should try their hand at at least once.
