  • Many of the lyrics directly refer to previous songs of theirs that were/are heavly criticized as "just noise". Some have pointed out that the album this is on, NoEasy (Noisy), is a big F U to haters. -"Cawing of a crow" refers to their song Awkward Silence -"headache" refers to Side Effects -"A-class vibes", "crows and magpies", and "dudududu" refer to Gods Menu -Han being chased by a t-rex refers to Chronosaurus - Felix's verse "ugh, why'd you say it like that?" refers to criticism he received during their predebut survival show. He wasnt fluent in Korean, so how he phrased a very heartfelt question during a very upsetting time came out harsh, and he got a lot of hate because of it. -the sticky notes all have negative things that their haters have said about them. -the cheese Felix lists are all lactose intolerant friendly. Their way of saying that even if you might not like all of their music, there will inevitably be some you can and will like. -the "la la la la" chant is them mocking how haters sound and how SKZ filters their hate. Thanks for reacting to Stray kids
  • Tyty for reacting to another stray kids song. Cheese is a brilliant response to haters with a metric ton of inside references and word play, but it's really hard for a casual or new listener to understand❤. Someone else already explained it really well in the comments, so I will just add that knowing the background of Stray Kids ( i.e. how they formed and what they went through to debut, their struggle to be recognized in the Korean kpop market given how different they sound, and the way they have been treated around the world like when they were wrongly accused of cooking the billboard charts) is crucial to understanding where a lot of their music comes from. Their talent is real, and they work very hard, but they seem to have to fight for every ounce of respect they get. Honestly, as someone new to Stray kids, you might want to stick to their top radio hits at first, like lalalala, maniac, venom, top line, or easy, cover me. Lovestay is a beautiful song they made for fans that shows a lot about them, and I highly recommend it❤. Watching a 2024 guide would also be great, you'd learn more about them and STAYS love watching guide reactions😅.
  • Well the song Cheese is a straight slap to haters if you listen to the lyrics clearly mentions things that are intentionally written for haters its a hype song.
  • @StaySiren
Someone broke down where the different lyrics were from so I’ll just add the finger lyrics. They say to fold your index, middle, ring and pinky fingers (giving you a 👍) but in the ad lib it says thumb, index, ring and pinky - leaving the middle finger up. This song isn’t quite the song I’d recommend before you’d experienced more of their discography, but it’s a whole attitude filled clap black. I’d definitely recommend looking at Hellevator, Case 143 and Maniac next. Maybe All In, Top and Scars eventually.
  • Like the others have said, Cheese is definitely more of an inside joke, but once you know the references, it definitely is a hell of a good song. For me, Thunderous reigned supreme as my #1 SKZ song, until LALALALA arrived on the scene and finally unseated Thunderous, but Thunderous is still a VERY close second. Back Door, All In (Japanese version), FAM (Korean version), The Tortoise and the Hare (doesn't have an official MV), and TA (only has a dance practice video) are all high-tier SKZ songs. Then again, I consider SKZ and Ateez both 'no-skip discography' groups, so. LOL
  • @8nana8
There's a channel here called "Andy and Jas" they have a video where they break down and explain this song in case you want to more about the meaning, is actually very clever, also has a lot of references to other songs from them so that's why it's hard to understand what they're saying if you haven't listened them. Love your reactions btw^^ I'm glad you're enjoying their music
  • @AngeIBell
I just love how Stray Kids made a song a song for the haters. It's funny how some people only listen to a few seconds of their songs and declare it as noise or just it being loud. Anyways, you should check out Mayfly: Playing with paint. While it doesn't have all of the Stray Kids members, it has some of the rappers. I find the song genuinely enjoyable.
  • @prmtv
Cheese is one of my favorites. It's so much fun 😂😂 Easy, Freeze or Case143 next
  • Bro I don't know how you haven't heard this yet but you have gotta watch their MV "EASY". Its one of my favorite songs from them and it is extremely rap flow heavy I know you'll love it. One of my favorite memebre in the group (changbin who is a rapper) goes OFF on that song too. Trust me you'll know when its him lol
  • @lilithofnod
I love this song. It's a clap back song that's so specific only STAY will understand all the references which is even more of a F U to the haters.
  • @nneichan9353
yes, yes, yes! a song for when you want to smile.
  • @peeper5491
It’s a clap back at haters that keep saying they have “noise music”. Someone in the comments explained almost the entire meaning very well, im sure you’ll find it 😅
  • @ROXELL
Thank you for another SKZ reaction! I’m not a huge fan of Cheese even though I’m a major Stay or Stray Kids Fan.Cheese is a song for hater, and you’d have to listen to their other songs to understand the references, like them saying dudududu. Dudududu is God’s Menu. Please react to that one! It’s not about God and doesn’t say anything bad about God if you’re worried about that.
  • @Kernow80
Im super amped for you to go down the chester P rabbit hole .. looking forward to reactions to these top 3 The wickerman theory , A Dragon never hides its wings and last but not least ..The Authorship . Add all 3 to your list well worth your time
  • Thanks for reacting to SKZ they have such a huge discography and I hope you check more of their songs out. Have you reacted to an artist called Ren?
  • @reikot77
The hook, DU DU DU DU funny?! Getting headaches is funny?? is referring to Stray Kids noisy type of unique songs ‘God’s Menu’ and ‘Side Effects’. Stray Kids are laughing about haters in this songs, saying CHEESE ✌️🧀
  • Huda, This looks like you've been set up! 😅 I don't know what's wrong with some people.... (1st timer EVER I stopped watching a reaction video. I can't stand the bubblegum vibe, how would I care bout a message IF there is any. Horrible!)
