People say Tobey cries a lot I guess people can’t have feelings and emotions when they lose a loved one

For those that don't know the two workers at 2:31 were actual debris workers at the 9/11 ground site. There was an original scene were spiderman was swinging next to the twin towers, but was unfortunately cut off because the movie was still being filmed after the attacks. It's a nice little tribute that often goes unnoticed.

I always loved the extras in the Sam Raimi trilogy.

With great power, comes great responsibility. Remember that Pete, remember that. Absolute chills.
-
Tom Holland: Spider-Boy Andrew Garfield: Spider-Teen Toby Maguire: Spider-Man

I like how when Aunt May look at Pete just before she stood up and leave, there were tears in her eyes. The acting by almost everyone in this movie is just so way better than all other versions of spider-man.

1:24 Best part. Literal goosebumps. Music, the wrestling suit then the drawing and camera movements. Forever legendary.
-
For me, Spider Man isn't just Peter Parker, he's the manifestation of everything Uncle Ben taught him and stood for. For me, they are Spider Man .
-
As much as I love the other Spiderman movies (Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield), the Raimi movies will always be THE Spiderman films for me! Just your friendly neighborhood Spiderman

When Tobey Maguire came back in No Way Home, I was full of tears of joy. Makes me wish we have Spider-Man 4 right about now.

This is not nostalgia. This is quality.

You skipped the one lady that says, “Guy with eight hands. Sounds hot.”

Marvel Studios was able to build itself based on the success of the Raimi trilogy and as such allowed them to set about creating the MCU.

1:24 to 1:51 is peak superhero cinema. No action required. Just a young, guilt-driven man who decides to honor his beloved deceased uncle by using his powers to help those who can't fend for themselves and become a symbol of justice, hope and morality. The cinematography, the acting, THE MUSIC (Danny Elfmans score really turns this already great scene into an emotional rollercoaster) and the wise words of Uncle Ben echoing from the off "With great power comes great responsibility. Remember that, Pete... Remember that." It's a scene that evokes a sense of wonder, admiration and it made me want to go out fight with my hero Spider-Man when I saw it as a young boy with my dad for the first time. It just doesn't get better than that.

The Raimi trilogy had more emotion than the recent movies, even if they were a little joke oriented, the emotional beats were still fantastic
