Blasphemous deserve a animated show.

The beginning is the "sacrifice of the mother" for the "first sin". Followed by giving birth to her child (metaphorically ripping himself, the sword, out of her stomach) and taking on the sins of his mother and father. Then there is the theme of guilt, generational guilt. The guilt that tells the next generation to do better and atone for the sins of their parents. Its's a fight. A struggle. A constant series of battles. He is literally soaking himself in the blood of his enemies indicating that his journey is a Struggle. As all of ours are, fights are too chaotic and unpredictable to accurately write, so we have lower resolution action sequences of literal fighting. At the end of his journey, and his fighting he sacrifices himself and his son comes to rip himself from his father. This time the soldiers armor is in gold. Signifying that yes his son will do better than his father.

I think a Blasphemous animated show like Arcane or Edgerunner would go hard.

The story of Blasphemous is just so rich, I would actually pay of an animated series or even a movie.

Seeing this turn into a movie would be awesome I love this game it has so much rich lore and story behind it. It feels like playing The Bible if it were a videogame just an inverted version of it.
