SAYING GOODBYE | Going back to my roots

It feels SO GOOD to finally so goodbye to a part of my content creation that I've grown to hate. I do still LOVE home decor, and I love sharing my finds with you guys but after only posting dedicated home decor content for 2 years, I have grown to hate it. And hate it so much that I dreaded picking up my camera to film.

While I know a lot of you subscribed for my decor content, I do hope you stick around! I'll still be doing hauls, and decorating BUT it will be integrated in my videos. Not actual dedicated videos if that makes sense. Think , Allison Bickerstaff!

Can't wait to get back to it!

Please don’t quit. I love your vlogs! Your videos are awesome, inspiring and relaxing. You have great taste in decor! You are beautiful and talented!
  • @barbarag852
Wow that is truly disgusting to ask you if you are the maid as if a Latina can not have a beautiful home. You definitely have to do what makes you happy on YOUR channel!
  • @ginamaria2579
We aren’t going anywhere and Im so sorry it has come to this. Haters don’t deserve anything. Hang in there sweetie☺️💕
  • Brenda your channel is one of the first I started watching. I have screenshots on my phone of your home that I would use as my "goals". I admire you so much for your hardwork and ambition. As a fellow Mexican, I used to say that I wish you were my little sister so I could shop with you and see how you do what you do. At the end of the day, life is short and we all have to do what makes us happy. I wish you nothing but happiness and thank you for helping me make my home beautiful and my haven!

When you are happy/content, it brings out the hatefulness in some people. It is a sad reality. Do whatever makes you happy and EFF the haters!!

I am so sorry to hear that you were being bullied by who I would call UNHAPPY PEOPLE. Most are probably just jealous! I’ve been watching you for a couple of years now and you have had me running out and trying to find the decor you got as I have LOVED your decorating style. I look forward to WHATEVER content you share with us! It has been wonderful seeing you learn and grow on this channel. Bless you and yours…..ALWAYS 🤩
  • You are a talented creator. Your channel, your choice! I will definitely continue to watch. Thank you for your videos. I, for one, appreciate the time involved!
  • Brenda I’m so sorry! I’m here for the “coziness”! I wish you the best and I’m looking forward to old/new content

Hi Brenda, I don't usually post - but today is a must. F-them! You are doing the right thing by not satisfying them with a reply! They do not deserve it. As for me I love your fashion and decorating sense. Your intsta Bridgerton reels are a blast and I thoroughly enjoy them...I think you got me to finally see that series and I absolutely loved them...( I especially love Queen Charlotte) Anyway...keep on keeping on and do your thing girl! They seek you out and torment you because obviously there's jealousy there...not sure what else it can be.
  • Don’t let people stop you from doing what makes you happy! Do what makes you happy, do not let anyone steal your joy! Do not give energy to them by minimizing what you want to do… You do You!!! ❤
  • Don’t let anyone dim your light, take it from an old Latina! You are special and that’s why we watch your videos.❤❤

“You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world and there is still going to be someone who doesn’t like peaches” That quote is what I keep as my mantra when I feel like someone doesn’t like me for me. You can either be the blandest of flavors to try to appeal to everyone and they will think it’s okay and forgettable , or you can can choose to be your own unique flavor, some people will like it, hate it, or love it but it’s truly you and that’s way more important. And those who are here for it will be that much more invested. I love your cozy videos and appreciate your time thought and energy. Don’t let mean people steal your joy ✨❤️🫶🏻
  • I hate to hear that people are treating you this way, Brenda!! It makes me think twice before starting my own YouTube channel about home decor. Most of these haters are just jealous and cowardly!!! You are a beautiful person inside and out and I'm glad you will not let your light be snuffed out and will just pivot your content to make YOU HAPPY!!! Much love!!!
  • I’m disappointed in people feeling entitled to be so disrespectful. I truly enjoy your videos and I hope you find that spark to continue sharing what you enjoy with a healthy mindset.
  • Girl! First I’m so sorry you have had to endure such hatred! That breaks my heart for you! Secondly, do what makes you happy and brings you joy!! You are what makes this channel, not just the content, but you! So for the few people that will leave, it’s their loss. You will gain more subscribers and get that plaque! I pray that this shift brings back your joy and brings you happiness. I wish you nothing but the best and look forward to your future posts! ❤

Well Brenda, I just recently came across your videos, making me a new subscriber. I studied interior design years ago and have the abilities but would never have the courage to do what you do weekly on YouTube. I suspect many of these keyboard warriors have neither the courage nor the skill required. My husband and I retired from our grocery store earlier than we would have liked because of the explosion of entitled customers during Covid. What we do for our livelihood should never take precedence over our mental wellbeing. I wish you well and look forward to whatever you may offer in the future. Good luck with that 100,000 goal.
