Great content. Easy to understand. Demystifying the process of building one of these for those of us not familiar with such projects. Thanks for putting this up.

Thank u Conor! I am very lucky to have a cold river by my house that I try to go everyday to cold plunge, but it is super interesting to know how to have that at home! Cold plunge and the feeling it gives you is addictive!

Inspiring for how to make this more accessible at home. Thanks for sharing 🌟💕🤸🏽♀️

This is such a good idea! As I’m broke I’ll keep my cold plunging to the Irish Sea for now!

looks crazy! cool video bro

Did you use JB Weld? Or JB WaterWeld? Those are two separate products. I’ve been told to use WaterWeld on chest freezers, not regular JB Weld.

I like that it's a repurposed deep chest freezer. I'm wondering if it can still be used for food preservation after modifications are made to it. In the event that I would no longer use it for cold plunges, it would be nice to still have it for freezing food.

Love this! I go to Yosemite every year hiking to high mountain lakes with my partner and we ALWAYS swim in the lakes and it's fucking cold! I don't know the temperatures but it is the source of snow melt, so it is cold. That first plunge is killer, to me anyway. Have you heard about heart attacks if you go into really cold water? Someone was telling me about this and it kind of freaked me out, but then I thought, well I go in freezing water in Yosemite and nothing has happened to me. Is this heart attack thing a myth, or reality, do you know?

I am blind, so I’m not entirely sure what the set up looks like. Is it a chest freezer that has been filled up with water? If there is anybody in the comments that could help describe what he is getting into, that would be really helpful.
