I had to create Shiny Sandwiches from the new Pokemon Scarlet & Violet games, but my ingredients are chosen from out of a hat... This can only go well... right??

He's not the chef the world needed. He's not the chef the world wanted. But he's the one we got.

As someone who cooks on a pretty much daily basis, these videos simultaneously bring me immense amounts of joy, stress, disgust, and entertainment. Overall, 10/10 job. Keep up the awesome videos, Jack!💜

For anyone curious the final sandwich was, Title Power: Fighting, Lv. 3 Sparkling Power: Fighting Lv. 3 Encounter Power: Fighting Lv.3 It must be in 2 player and the following ingredients are, Cucumber, Kiwi, Tofu, Pickle, Cherry Tomatoes, Cheese, Lettuce, Watercress, Hamburger, Hamburger, Hamburger and Herbed Sausage.

I love seeing a man who never cooks doing this. I cook every day, it's a hobby of mine, and this horrifies me. Honestly would have loved to see him take a big ol bite of these monstrosities
-
My favorite part of this is that unless you are going to a higher end specialty shop, any wasabi you get in the US is actually just colored horseradish (wasabi and horseradish are from the same plant family). Makes the sushi bit even funnier to me. EDIT: Actually, the fact that he used the top of the bread as the bottom and visa versa is really great.
-
If Jack didn’t do this I don’t think anyone would. This guy does the stuff no one else wants to and makes it look fun
-
From an entertainment perspective, I love these videos. From the perspective of a professional baker, I feel my soul drain away with each passing second.
-
Fun fact. Real wasabi is incredibly expensive so the "wasabi" you get in the US is a mixture of horseradish, hot mustard and green food coloring. This sandwich is mostly horseradish.
-
I'm not sure what's better: Jack not knowing how to scoop out a kiwi, him putting several tablespoons of peanutbutter on one part of the sandwich, or him turning those noodles into a hashbrown
-
"The tofu is about to be the most normal thing on this sandwich!" Said the man who'd apparently never seen horseradish in his entire life.
-
purplecliffe: "im so prepared i bought a rice cooker" also purplecliffe: "how does this bread work?"
-
Purplecliffe: who eats this stuff? Crispin: allow me to introduce myself
-
For those who are curious of the final Sandwich Stats, figured I'd run it through a calculator. 3rd Sandwich is 2-Player one, and will provide you with: Title Power: Fire, Lv. 3 Sparkling Power: Fire, Lv. 3 Encounter Power: Fire, Lv. 3 Would it be Nightmare to made? Yes. Would it be worth it? ...Maybe? If you want shiny Fire-type with Tittle. (Are there cheaper options? ...Likely.)
-
Jack trying to cook without the basic utensils gives me life.
-
Purplecliff saying "smash" to a sandwich is the most surreal thing I've seen
-
The noodle sandwich doesn't use bacon. It uses prosciutto which is much different. Prosciutto is taken from the hind leg of pigs and usually salt cured. The salt curing process is a lot longer which makes it safe to eat without cooking so it's generally eaten raw on sandwiches and salads and whatnot
-
The animation of Jack eating the sandwiches was the best thing i saw in the whole day
-
As an Asian, watching him trying to cook rice was both painful and funny Edit: the wasabi part as well Edit: tofu part too

I’ve got a fair amount of hospitality experience and the one thing I kept saying what “what are you doing man just WHAT” 😂 I was both confused and amused 20/10 love it
