Yo mama's so fat that if she were a graphics card she'd be an Asus Strix 4090
  • @Snafu2346
I can only imagine how cool the EVGA FTW version would have looked like. To me they always made the best variants.

Thank you, this is precisely what I wanted to see, I won't say names but other people that showed this card this morning talked way too much about other stuff and not the card. Much appreciated!
  • @jerghal
It's definitely the best looking card but quite expensive even for a 4090. The TUF 4090 is about 200 euros cheaper and probably offers about the same performance and also still looks good 😊.

I think the fan colour scheme won't affect anyone who isn't vertically mounting it (is that even a thing on a GPU the size of a lunch box!) - as long as the backplate is neutral think most people won't be that bothered. Impressive generational leap from the 30 series for sure and i understand flagship status but I personally don't know anyone who would even tickle what it can do let alone max it, and that's ignoring the insane cost it will def be. Clear and concise presentation, briliant as always.

your channel's reviews are very good and cover most of the facets that a end user may be interested in. I found your channel while searching for monitors (looking for budget UHD 32" with maybe 120hz refresh) and it was a good find. Awesome video reviews for 4090, hoping for awesome AMD 7900/7950 reviews too
  • You dont seem to be using a script and you actually are passionate about all of this. Truly amazing. Wonderful channel thank you.
  • @ajmatt
The official MSRP for this card according to asus e-shop is 2414€ here in Germany. That is actually more than the launch price of the 3090Ti which was around 2200€ as far as I remember.
  • You can never go wrong with a ASUS ROG Strix card... Great review!
  • @Leo.501
God bless we also have the TUF option, TUF 4090 looks more good in my opinion than the strix, strix 4090 looks more like kid/anime style , and I see no young blood paying 2000€+ on a video card when with this money you can buy a SH car... not a good one but still a car... exception here is the miners that in the past they think that a profit will be made. So fast fwrd 2y from now, this card will be on the bottom of my list lol. Great content btw, keep it up👍😎

I'm surprised there aren't more cards with 2 HDMI ports. On 4K displays the HDMI 2.1 is the only one that provides sufficient bandwidth to run 4K 144hz without compression, so the reference model really should have had 2 DPs and 2 HDMIs and instead of 3 DPs and 1 HDMI since Display Port 1.4a isn't really sufficient for 4K monitor use.
  • It looks like Strix continues to deliver both in thermals and noise.
  • @luckyluk3r
Thanks a lot for the details on the power requirements. Currently running a 3090 OC Strix with a high quality 850W PSU. Looks like I can just swap cards when the 4090 OC Strix arrives on Monday, without having to swap the PSU.
  • @min_nari
thanks tech mama, what a day for pc enthusiasts. cant wait 6 years for them to drop to sensible prices so i can recommend them to ppl who want to do 4k gaming
  • @bojke91
Asus employee: But sir, 4090 is already enormous Asus engineer: MOREEEEE
  • @seancool
Amazing Review! :) Gooing to switch from the 3090 Strix to the 4090 Strix
  • @mochgg448
The best one is gigabyte 4090! Absolutely the queen of new era
  • @csn2300
First of all , does it have coil whine? And if no then which PSU did you pair with it?
