You know, I've got this strange feeling that the professor may have pre-ordered 3 booster boxes of assassin's creed for $150 each, and therefore spent $450 on what I just saw...

I can't wait for the Professor's opinion on value boosters to be a video. The product with so much value, Wizards wouldn't even announce the price! They're probably going to be $3.99 for 7 cards, for a chance at not getting a rare! WOW! GREAT VALUE.

On the plus side, now you can wallpaper the studio in Shao Jun showcase cards. As long as "Xiao" spelled like "Shao" doesn't bother you.

I like that they stuck to the themes of AC for this set, like The hidden ones because the value is sure hidden here!

they really took the theme of Assassins Creed to heart - even the value in these boxes is hidden

I could not care much for Assassins Creed but a Reconnaissance reprint and Shay Cormac being a really cool commander means I will be enjoying purchasing these cards (as singles!)

I love when you do long video pack openings while you talk about a topic, like when you talked about planes while opening innistrad, wish you would do more of those!

It's pretty sad when one card (Sword of Feast and Famine) covers 20% of a total box price but the remaining 23.8 packs can't cover the other 80%. I typically buy booster boxes because I want enough cards from a set that I end up getting most of what I wanted, but I knew this set was one that didn't interest me enough to justify it. I took the recommended route of buying singles, and I got the four cards I wanted from this set for a little over $10. (Much better than paying $40 for a single copy of Cover of Darkness before the reprint.)
