It has been SIX months since the iPhone 14 Pro was released, and as a hardcore Android enthusiast, I thought it'd be fun to switch my sim card back over to it once more to see how things have evolved since.

Is it still a worthy purchase here in 2023? Let's find out!

After being an android user for 14 years i got the iPhone 14 pro and it’s the first iPhone i ever owned. So i am older and don’t tweak with my phone much and also noticed that the apps on IPhone work better than they do on android after switching it seems to le that apps on android seem unfinished. Bottom line i am not going back to android. Great video by the way.
  • I recently got an iPhone 14 Pro Max myself. After having used Android for about 5 years. At this point, I just got bored of customization and only want my phone to do the stuff I need it to. I got myself a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra while the preorders were running, but returned it. The biggest reason for me, however, for choosing an iPhone is the fact that I like FaceTime and iMessage - mainly for their good media quality. Also, this phone's battery life is GOOD. Lasts me 2 days or more usually (not a heavy user). Oh and regarding the notification system, I don't get enough notifications to care. It works alright. 😂

Awesome videos and editing. Am a long time android user and switching to Apple after almost 8 years. Picked up an i phone 14 pro. I really miss the easy and many customizational freedom of android. But your customization videos are definitely helping me with it. Great job. Keep it up👍
  • I was a Galaxy phone user up until mid 2019, my current phone is the 14 Pro. One feature I miss the most from my Samsung phones is the ability to split the screen for 2 different apps. I found this feature to be useful occasionally even on the smaller screen of my Galaxy S8

I couldn't agree more. I also switched to iOS recently for about 6 months. As a lifelong android user there were just dozens of little things that bugged me about iOS that Android just seemed to do better. It did however have some features that I enjoyed

I have pretty much always been a hardcorr Android user. I did own the iPhone 5 and then 12 mini. I ended up getting the 14 pro as my primary phone (still have the pixel 7 pro). I really like this phone but there's one thing that people never talk about, it takes way longer to do simple tasks on the iPhone. The animations are so bloody long that I usually finish my task way faster on the pixel. But I love the flat design of the iPhone, I only use it with a Dbrand Skin. Cameras are great and yes, very reliable (I still prefer pixel). I customised my home screen a lot using Sam's icons and wallpapers lol.
  • I'm also an android user and tried to use an iphone, as much as I love the fluidity and consistency, I just missed some things on android that were much more easier to do, just like from the video, having a back button from either side.

I never had any issues(with over heating, laggin…smooth as butter) love your custom job btw….I’m coming from Samsung galaxy s22u an the ONLY thing i miss is a back gesture

My iPhone 14 Pro’s battery is great. It start my da around 630am and it is now almost 9pm. My battery is at 37%. I use it for business running Teams, Office, phone calls, browsing, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc. 15+ hours is pretty darn good.

Try to use back tap 2x back tap for spotlight. When you type Photos, there is setting for photos in spotlight search 3x tap for others like control center or camera or shortcuts you created

the dynamic island is not a gimmick. the thing is more apps need to support this feature and it will be great, things like apple's own messages notifications and calendar reminders, etc need to work with dynamic island. they currently just pop down from the top of the screen like a normal iphone without dynamic island. more apps supporting this feature will lowkey make it a multitasking space for quick toggles
  • @JonMcG
Love the wallpaper and screen design of your phone

I just ordered a 14 pro to upgrade my pixel 2xl. I haven't had an iPhone since the 8. I'll always be a android loyalist but I'm excited to actually have an updated phone lol. Was going to get a pixel 7 pro but was able to get double the storage for a cheaper price.

i had the iphone 14 pro until i got mugged recently, now i am using an old s10. I really liked everything about the iphone, only slight issue is the processing of the photos, they still look fantastic, and they look almost as good as the pixel when auto enhancing after, but i was hoping for an update to tone the sharpening down abit cos the hardware of the cameras don't need extra help much, maybe ios 17 will patch it? not that it matters anymore cos my phone was stolen, but oh well
