It looks so much like the 2021 game between Carlsen and Deutsch. Such a coincidence.

"The greatest bishop pair ever." And one glance at the board confirms it. That is a beautiful checkmate. I always enjoy when a pawn can get in on the checkmate action. The idea a sacrificial piece can rise up is so symbolic and, of course, who doesnt love an underdog?

I like how you get excited talking about these old games, the play by play commentary really brings these games out of the history books for novices like myself who wouldn't otherwise know about them

I didn't have anybody to play chess either, I tried teaching chess to my neighbour as kid and had to lose by playing silly moves so he won't get bored of losing.
