In Flames: Moonshield + The Jester's Dance (Live at Hellfest 2017)

Man. What I wouldn't do for a new album like this.

You know a song is good when there is a mosh pit for a melodic and somewhat clean guitar instrumental.

If you are listening In Flames's discography backwards, from the new stuff to the oldest ones, it almost looks like seeing the story of a shitty, hipsterish, alt band becoming one of the greatest Melodeath legends out there.

When they play these old songs you'd think they would say to themselves "jeez this is alot better than our new material" lol

I love that Anders kept the vocals the way they were recorded

Even though I'm not a fan of their new work, The Jester Race is one of the greatest metal albums of all time! Brings back memories and tears......

Probably the best his vocal has sounded in years. Should play more old stuff, his voice suits them so much better.

Anders sounds so much more natural with their old stuff.

He can still growl, sad he doesn't much.

Edit: Its been 2 years and this is still one of the best live vocal performances I've ever seen
