The fact that you have to make an entire video to rationalize why the V.P. should be Shapiro, and to try to excuse and defend all his past terrible words and policies - that alone is proof he should NOT be the V.P. candidate. All that baggage. The second he becomes the nominee, then it's on Kamala Harris to have to refute all his baggage. And it would likely sound just as desperate and suspect as this embarrassing video. A V.P. is supposed to make a ticket stronger - not put the Presidential candidate in defense mode.

I'm sorry Cenk, but the idea that Shapiro loves Israel so much that he's going to oppose Netanyahu and fight for Palestine is beyond absurd. I would call it naive if I didn't think you knew better. There's no way that a man who has defined his career by his love for Israel will do anything other than give Israel everything they want.

Cenk usually has good, informed takes, but he’s not reading the room on this one. Shapiro is HATED by big chunks of the base and would by far do the most damage. Shawn Fain has already warned against choosing Shapiro, and labor is the least of his issues. Sexual harassment, hardcore anti-Palestinian protester, anti-BDS law promoter, pro-voucher and anti-teachers union. A disastrous choice, and obviously so.

I don't hate on Shapiro because he's Jewish and I'm shocked to see Cenk even suggest that;s the issue with him. I hate the fact that he's 100% Pro Israel and has even attacked the Pro Palestine protesters. I can't believe Cenk's top pick is the guy most likely to side with Israel 100% of the time.
