Hope she wins. Watching her in Anatomy of a Fall is like watching a real person instead of someone acting.

Sandra Hüller beim Kimmel....krass. Souverän abgeliefert!

The German and French are just the greatest when it comes to naturalistic acting. What an astonishing performance.

I went to the theatre in Bochum and saw her in a one-woman-play called "Bilder deiner großen Liebe" (Pictures of Your true love). I was so absolutely moved and touched by her performance that i was crying even after we left the theatre. And thats where we met her and she was so kind and gave me a hug. I cherish that moment and I am so happy for her international success.

She is so phenomenal in Anatomy of a Fall and The Zone of Interest, every spirit that she gave to her characters were all from her heart. Hope she could win the Oscars for sure!!!!!!!!!!

She‘s very German in a good way, meaning very authentic, honest and direct. Nice! :)

"Did you watch American movies in Germany?" No, Jimmy. We don't even have electricity yet.
  • @SleepingHowl
She truly is one of the greatest actors working today. Such a incredible talent.
  • For the international audience: "Denver Clan" was the German title of "Dynasty" ;)

You would never - ever - know the power of this woman's talent by this interview. A little shy, unassuming, gentle-spirited. Watch this and then watch the confrontation scene with her husband in Anatomy. Wow!!

What she meant with the garbage was that she had to bring her recyclables to the recycling yard which may have specific drop-off times. German Garbage is a science in itself, and not a very fun one haha, you have to keep track of your garbage calendar to make sure you put the right trash out at the right time :D

Narrator: He did not in fact pronounce her name perfectly, but she couldn’t be arsed to get into it.

I love Sandra Hüller so much. Glad she is getting more and more recognition for her work.

Reminds me of a young striking Cate Blanchett/ current Carey Mulligan. But Sandra is certainly her OWN amazing actress! What a beautiful woman.

Hüller's style is difficult to describe. She gives her characters a naturalness that can perhaps be described as realistic, even if the material doesn't necessarily have to be. I was already fascinated by her in Toni Erdmann, and now she has arrived where she needs to be, on Mount Olympus. Anatomy... is also a wonderful movie whose 2.5 hours pass more quickly than you might fear. And in the end, it's a work that will stay with you for a long time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all the Oscars this movie deserves.

For anyone that enjoyed this movie mostly for Hüller’s acting, I beg you to watch her in Toni Erdmann (which she mentions in this interview). One of the great leading lady performances of the last several years.
