Hillsboro, Oregon | 4k Driving Tour

Im from the UK living in North Wales. Stumbled across this on youtube. Never been to America so love to see what its like! Looks amazing.

I was born in Hillsboro, on the tail end of mg parents living there for 4 years while my dad went to optometry school at Pacific in Forest Grove in the late 70’s. I grew up in Michigan though from just a few months old, and have lived in central Florida as an adult the past 25 years since I was 19. But my entire life I’ve loved Oregon, and have felt like it’s where I belong. There are just some many aspects of it that I absolutely love, or feel this unspoken and inherent connection with. I love the outdoors, the environment, Oregon wine is my favorite in the world, I’m a distance runner, I like to bike and ski, there are Oregon companies from Leatherman to Keen that I’ve always loved, etc. Maybe one day I’ll get back.

45:07 Those torn up buildings to the left. When you see this, those buildings have been demolished and is being turned into a place called Hillsboro Station! Hillsboro Station is going to be a Food Truck Lot which should be making a grand opening later this summer, By the way those Front parking spots are only going to be reserved only for Food trucks, There's going to be a separate parking lot somewhere nearby, probably behind the hillsboro station for you to park. Me and my mom are excited to go!

That curved building across the way at 43:42 had THE BEST Winchell's Donuts in ALL of Washington County, always got hot cocoa and an apple fritter.

You should do a video on South Hillsboro and one on the northern side of Hillsboro.

Insane. I moved from Washington County to Pennsylvania in 1993. Back then, Hillsboro was the airport and downtown HIllsboro. WOW!!
