What has become so under-appreciated in this talk of rockets and supersonic transport, is YouTube. I mean i'm sitting in the Middle East, roaming the internet on a break from studying to exams. And in 48 minutes I can indulge knowledge far beyond measure of what anyone 20 years ago could dream of despite my economical situation. I can listen and learn from two amazing and inspiring young entrepreneurs, revolutionizing this world as we know it. And i could do that by the click of a button….
  • Thank you for Khan Academy! I'm 44, working on a math degree, new father and husband. I have been studying on Khan Academy for over 2 years, and now I am entering college, all thanks to Khan Academy. I started using Khan to teach my kids. What a blessing this is! Thank you!

I remember when i saw this a few weeks ago everyone was talking about how different elon was this interview, he didn't stutter, or fidget and was so calm and relaxed talking to sal with eye contact
  • This is the most relaxed Elon I have ever seen on any interview. I love how Sal has made the entire interview talk environment so relaxing. Well done Khan academy. Incredible!

Watching a conversation with Elon in 2013 and living in 2021 and seeing all his futuristic visions manifest is mind-blowing.

I feel like he doesnt stutter a lot when he knows he’s talking to someone who can understand his vocabulary fluently

This was an awesome interview, the presenter is calm and allowing Elon Musk to speak on his own terms. Free flowing.
  • @svetikar
It was indeed one of the most inspiring conversations I've heard
  • " I couldn't find the date NASA was going to launch a man to Mars or moon on their website, so basically, I founded a rocket company." - Elon Musk, 2013

Who is here after knowing Elon donate 5 million to Khan academy? Wow they are old frnds now I get😁.
  • @Kalen1457
Musk isn't stuttering so much here as he usually does. Interesting. Also I get the nerdiest vibe from Sal; his posture, demeanor, and even manner of speaking is indicative of that. Super smart cool guys though, both of them are mavericks of science and engineering.
