Charles Barkley was hands down one of the best Power Forwards in NBA history. He was such a phenomenal athlete in an awkward body frame. A trully odd and unique athlete. Dribbled like a point guard, size of a shooting guard, rebounded like a center. He doesn't get the credit he deserves!

  • MJ low-key disses Barkley all the time but as soon as Charles said Mike hadn't done well as an owner(which he hasn't) Mike quit talki to him after 20+ years of friendship. You wrong for that one Micheal 🙄

44 points 24 rebounds in game 7 of the WCF standing maybe at 6'5" is all that needs to be said. One of the greatest players ever.
  • @AMMWorldViews
6'5 player averaging 13 rebounds a game in the physical ass 90's, averaged more rebounds than Shaq in his prime
  • Chuck was amazing in his younger years but phoenix suns chuck was on another level. Dude was disciplined, smart and skilled. He carried that team all the way to th finals that year. Absolute killer
  • I always wanted to be like Mike growing up. But now that I'm older, I see that Chuck would have been way more fun to hang out with.

It's a shame Barkley gets overlooked when they mention the top power forwards, he is one of the best to ever play
  • "Charles Barkley took me under his wing, which I wish he didn't". 😂😂😂
  • Charles Barkley and Dennis Rodman are proof rebounding isn’t about being tall but being able to clear the space and effort! Two of the best rebounders I have seen and either one of them is taller than 6’7”

Until Zion Williamson came along , I felt Chuck was the most uniquely physically gifted player who'd yet played in the NBA. With an actual height of 6' "4 1/2" inches, and weighing in his prime 250-260 lbs , I was, and am still, amazed at what he accomplished on the court. When he was at Auburn, and playing at over 300 lbs, his athletic ability was astounding. One of my all-favorite players, ever.
  • Some of these stories were ridiculous! Chuck has the best personality in NBA history hands down
  • @Bob-fj7lr
"I just flunked my entrance exam into kindergarten" is something only this man would think to say off the top of his head

Chuck is a national treasure! He's one of the very few people on TV to not take himself seriously and have fun, even when it's at his own expense. It's gonna be a sad day when/if he legit decides to retire from public life.

There is a life lesson here. Funny how him and Shaq heated with each other but later formed a bromance, and now hin and Jordan dont even talk, although they were close friends before. Thats how life is.

Sir Charles was a special player. Doesn’t get enough love in my opinion when people bring up the greats from that era. Undersized PF who would grab all the boards, dunk on you, back you down on the block and score at will, and occasionally splash the 3 in your face. Top 5 PF of all time in my opinion.

“Barkley says things we would think about and never say”. -MJ

Even more awesome is chuck and Shaq’s mom being best friends!
  • Seeing an old Charles at 6’4 actually take down prime Shaq is crazy impressive He knew how to fight too by sweeping his leg up 😂
  • Chuck lost a brother in Jordan. Shaq lost a brother in Kobe. Together they found a brother in each other.

Moses Malone was a huge influence on Hakeem Olujawon. MJ, Hakeem and Chuck were the 3 best players in the 1984 draft and Moses mentored 2 of 3. Those Houston pickup runs against Moses were basically gladiator school for young Hakeem, while at Univ of Houston. Hakeem has said this in multiple interviews. Those runs against Moses and his big man mentoring, really took his game and mindset to the next level. He said Moses would push him so hard sometimes, he would contemplate quitting, but he stuck in there.
