BUFFED HYLOS IS NOW THE MOST ANNOYING HERO

Fun fact: Hylos currently is in the top 3 highest winrate hero in all ranks and mythic+, and top 11 in mythical glory+ and seing that, I don't understand why his pick rate doesn't go up. yet.

You can try Hylos in the exp lane with sprint, take 2nd skill lvl 1 and proxy the wave right away (use sprint). oh also take the explode tank emblem ( +tank emblem with and armor / discount). buy the fire orb first so u dont have to spent mana for clearing (im fully aware about hylos passive). play aggressive once your sprint is up so u can pull the enemy team agro towards you, hence space for your own team. your enemy may keep the gold lead with crab / jungle creep but you always have the pressure after clear. always open enemy jungle to see their position. banned enemy : cici, and another kiting / constant dps hero. item : boots, fire orb -> domi , ice queen. free (finish orb / thund belt / red staff for tanky enemy, armour, other tank item, etc).

I've been using Hylos for quite a while recently and I can confidently say that it has a been a blast playing him now. The new buffs really did him good, along with the new Dominance Ice he's pretty much the most annoying tank you can face. You can even solo Heroes if you really try Hahahhaa.

Have you tried him with the new CoD and Thunder Belt? The hybrid defense stack every time he deals magic damage is literally custom made for his S2. Plus TB gives EVEN MORE slow on his basic attack. Dom Ice, IQW, TB, CoD, Immo sounds like a recipe for unescapable Hylos.

Hylos is great before and after update because in my build I always use clock of destiny for 2k+ hp because of his passive and the concussive blast/ shockwave just make it a nightmare for squishy heros because its hp scaling but since this update dropped the mana usage for Hylos is significantly dropped he could tank more than usual because not using his hp and rushing to the enemy turret with this hp can make your whole team go for the gank (if they ever listen XD) paired up with revitalize and ult makes me almost immortal (if it weren't for that Karrie)

The reason is he has no way to close the gap and having hp based survival is just not good enough, especially when Karrie is still dominant, Trinity is as powerful as ever and Dominance got the equivalent of a nerf for most tanks.

I've been picking him, both as roamer and jungler for a while whenever it needed to. And yes, I love his current buffs. And I love bullying enemies with hylos. You guys should try 😁

He is fun to play especially when the enemies have 3 or more melee heroes, if only the revamped CoD comes together with the buff it would be great

Reason for that is.... setting is all on the game, especially for tank roamers. Mino, Edith, Grock, Tig and even Khuf and Atlas can gap over him when it comes to setting fights. If he tries to go EXP lane, lane clearing and rotating are a big challenge for him due to his slow clearing and limited mobility.

idk but hylos 2nd skil with IQW doesn't work, the ice icon on enemies didn't show up, only on first initial hits,which mean u hv to turn on N off iw u want to trigger the slow effect, or is it just a visual bug ?

I feel hylos can actually try exp lane in this current meta (you can try getting clock of destiny first item for more lane clear ability + heal from lvl up) but that is if your teammates allow you to.

Maybe it would be nice if they could add Xavier’s old passive to Hylos. The one where they will get immobilized by standing next to him for a certain amount of time. That will be a good buff.

Hylos is really usefull to take out the back line units I usually use the revitalize, it's VERY usefull due to the heal plus the hylos ult and with tank build with a clock of destiny as the 3rd or 4th slot, with my build i can get to 13k+ hp with a decent defense

I always use hylos when the enemy uses a mid that is not agile like Nana, luoyi, vexana. I will crash into a crowd of enemies and focus on attacking their mid, but will retreat when they attack my team's dmg dealer because I as a roamer have to protect the team. Basically, I focus on offense when playing this centaur
