South Africa is just days away from a milestone election where its citizens will vote at the provincial and national level on May 29. The upcoming election is a major test for South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and the African National Congress. The ruling ANC has been under immense pressure. Several polls predict the African National Congress may dip below 50% of the vote this election. This could be a landmark moment in South African politics. If the ANC loses its majority, it will need support to form a coalition government. Which party will back the ANC? We spoke to Zwakele Mncwango, chairperson of ActionSA in KwaZulu-Natal province.
