As a 90s/2000s mega boxing fan... seeing those two together and filled with such respect warms my heart! Love you lads!

Roy in his prime there's never been a better fighter and Bhop in his prime was in same conversation 2 legends right there

Time is a thief. Two of the greatest to ever do it. Glad they left it in the ring after all those years. 🐐🐐

These two brothers still look good and healthy, and still speak well. -2 HOF Legends. When Hopkins started talking about Roy’s speed, I could not stop laughing. 🤣🤣🤣! I love their conversation.

Roy was one of the most natural gifted boxers that you will ever see...he knew he was the best and his flashiness proved it...Bernard was one of the most technically efficient fighters on the planet and his dedication to his craft made him a legend for his longevity to the point we thought he was a "Alien!" 👽😂
  • Shout out to B-Hops humility!!! That's a true Champion's trait. He had us and Roy in tears! 🤣😂

This was a beautiful moment. 2 living legends
  • One of the best interviews I've ever seen. Memorable. Wish it was longer. Thank you sirs.

Never in a million years did I think Roy and Bhop would be that close to each other without swinging. Them dudes had a natural and AUTHENTIC dislike for one another all throughout their careers but they obviously have always respected each other a great deal which is how a friendship has developed. They had 2 great fights too! Congratulations to both these legendary fighters on their hall of fame inductions.

This became one of my favorite YouTube vids of all time. The Transcendence presented in this interview is nothing short of Amazing. This conversation goes way differently in the 90's, you could feel the tension and hunger between them back in those days. They sit here today with Roy's wife and Bernards son just reminiscing. Beautiful!

No wait did he say Bernard Hopkins vs Roy jhons was an under card?? Man 90s boxing was different those cards were stacked with REAL FIGHTERS!
  • Roy Jones had the coldest ring intros of all time. I remember when he had Method Man bring him out, shit was lit!
  • Me at 33 sitting here hype smiling hard asf. I love these two man LIVING LEGENDS. Man Roy smoked Bhop and James Toney buddy was levels above with that flyweight speed and cruiserweight power.
  • Great interview Ellie. I remember seeing Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins 1 in real time in 93. On the bus you also had former welterweight champion of the world Marlon Starling.... I had the Chance to make it to the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2019. All true boxing aficionados have to go to Canastota. For 43 years I have been studying the sweet science and I agree with B-hop ... The 80's was an incredible era .

Love it when Ellie asked, "when they fought who had the fastest hands?" (10:23) They both legit had the same answer. Legends!
  • @donisharris2331
Every time B-hop validated Roy, he turned more toward the camera. lol. Love these two warriors. Respect to both all-time greats.
  • Really love these guys. There’ll never be anyone like these guys ever again. They are true champions and gave their all to the sport. God bless them and their families.
