  • I got to respond to Houston when hurricane Harvey rolled through. We had to take shelter at a Buckies when the highway was flooded. The manager and several employees used a row boat to come in and open the store and fed us for free. Amazing people

Buc-ees was a weird coincidence I stumbled upon at 2 a.m. on a long drive to Florida. While my mom was driving, I used gas buddies to locate the cheapest gas and it was 10-20 cents cheaper than everything around it. Because of previous adventures, we joked that it was probably some backwater mom and pop shop that only did cash. We kept our hopes low and approached cautiously. Did not expect to see a massive storefront surrounded by hundreds of pumps. Even at those dead hours, they had a relatively good flow of customers. It was amazing.

If Bucc-ees is going to be on the way on a roadtrip we make it a destination. You know the restrooms are clean, gas is cheaper, shopping around is fun, and plenty of great food to choose from.
  • I live in TX and there is a insane amount of love for Buc-ees here. Well deserved too. They also have their own soda brand and if I could I would buy their Rootbeer by the truck load.

You only have to go to Buc-ee's once to make it a mainstay for traveling. Cheaper gas, clean bathrooms and food. Being able to stretch and move in a positive atmosphere is a welcomed relief.
  • The New Braunfels location is between San Antonio and Austin. Austin is just an hour away whereas Houston is three hours away. I don’t know why you would use that for reference.
  • It's hard to be excited about a gas station, but once you have been to a Buc-ee's, that changes. I just want thank the nation of Texas for lending your treasure to some of the rest of us. We have two in Florida (Daytona and St Augustine) and wanting one closer to me (Orlando).
  • I 💕💕 Buc-ee’s! I live in SC and we got our first one finally on I-95! I’ve stopped by 2 times now. It was full both times! Was going to stop by a third time but the car line to go in was just too long! They do have the best restrooms and their pulled pork sandwich is fantastic. Welcome to SC Buc-ee’s!

Visited Texas this summer and these places are incredible. They are absolutely massive! Huge meat counters with so much jerky. Amount of snacks is ridiculous. They have literally everything. Go if you get the chance!!
  • I lived across the street from Jim Anderson who owned a Texaco station in Freeport Texas where we lived. Jim sold his station to Beaver Applin and that became one of the first Bucees'. My wife went to high school with him. Bucees, is the #1 convenience store in the nation hands down.
  • When I’m traveling I look forward to going to Buc-ees-The people are so friendly the restrooms are so clean! When I saw it in my state I said you better not mess up you better keep the integrity!😊

I had my first Buc-ee's experience last week. Besides all the bigness in the video, the thing that struck me was the buzz in the store. The place is loud. The hum and murmur from the crowd was closer to a theme park or transportation terminal than a retail store. It was actually exciting!
  • Buc ee’s was paying their employees well above wages everywhere else around them, before it was popular many years ago. That’s one of the reasons I always liked it… A business owner that takes care of his employees, deserves to have success.
  • @Josh-sx7wn
It’s very rare to find a chain that people love so much. Most chain stores are filled with hate and a love to hate
  • @MegaAlexis92
I have been to the one in Tennessee and boy was it huge. I have also been to one in Alabama and the Tennessee location blows it out of the water. But I understand the size of it now and it most definitely understand how it has a huge fan base. I admit I actually became a fan of it because of the chopped brisket sandwich it’s the best brisket I ever had. If anyone travels to one it’s definitely worth the trip.
  • Our whole family loves you Buc-ees! 🤩keep up the good work. We don't even mind if you share this Texan goodness with other states! Just remember where you're from! Just stay away from building water parks!!!
  • @crscott9908
I drive a truck. I love Buc-ees. Easy to understand their reasoning in not allowing trucks.
  • Prior to their Grand Opening, the new Crossville, TN store invited all 1st responders, dispatchers and city/county government in to see the store and gave out free food, drinks and snacks. Best BBQ Brisket sandwiches ever!
  • I visit Buc-ees everytime visiting my family in Buda. I actually use a larger suitcase so I have room for nuggets, Texas tshirts, and other misc items that are distinctly Texas.
