“There’s the mailman and I’m going back inside cause I’m awkward like that.” Big mood, but same honestly

the fact that people can just.. decide to make this one day and then actually do it will never cease to amaze me lmao

Here's my suggestion about the epoxy resin.. SAND IT. Not just the rough grade, but you have to go up in grit until your basically just buffering the thing. Make the scratches super thin, then finish it with a polishing paste. That's the best way to get clear epoxy. Just keep rising in grits until you get to like.. 3000 grit or 5000 grit. Then you put polishing paste, rub it in and get rid of the excess. Those lines and drippies from adding the epoxy on top? Just sand them to a very fine grit then polish them. Wet sanding helps too! Also, if you want to get rid of any bubbles, either heat or a pressure pot. You COULD use a vacuum chamber, but I've seen that mess with resin before. A pressure pot(about 30psi I believe) will make the bubbles super tiny. Or, you can use a heat gun/lighter to pop surface bubbles. I see those used for thinner projects though, not... epoxy blocks. Seriously though, try the sandpaper thing. Thats your best chance at a clean finish. Check out dice makers or epoxy resin workers here on youtube, a lot of them use sandpaper. Some people commented micromesh, yeah that too! Just super fine grit, because the smaller the scratches the better

Considering the difference between Potion 1.0 and Potion 2.0, I'm expecting Potion 3.0 to actually give you magical powers, or allow you to fly or turn invisible or something... LOL Great job! (Still too broke to support you on Patreon, but hope springs eternal...)

7:35 I completely forgot that in Norway you don’t see the sun year-round! Congrats on keeping the lighting good. 😂 Also, love the potion. 💕

May I just say damn, the final result is so cool, I love it
  • @tripleacosplay
Have you tried wet sanding or polishing the resin? There are a few people I see who lathe similar things out of resin and they'll look dull until they polish it and then it's a high gloss shine. Just a suggestion, love the creativity!
  • 🤣😂 I see a person coming, run back inside!!! 🤣😂 That's so me!!! ❣️

Everytime you make a video about something magic related (books, wands, etc) I get closer to the idea that you're secretly a witch

Looks great! Sadly you will never get away from sanding epoxy if you want a really smooth finish.. I normally don't go any lower than 120 and then work up to 600 grit where I switch to wet sanding and then polish using plastic polish (car polish works well for this).
