Before FNAF's eventual success, Scott Cawthon's next big shot was Chipper & Sons Lumber Co., a kid's game surprisingly filled with lots of strange story details, scary imagery, and… that scary-looking mushroom.

Thank you so much for watching!

What if chipper and sons is actually a fnaf game, and is analogous to the relationship between William and Mike.

When I played Tyke and Sons, I thought the creator was just adding their own unhinged spin into the game with the dialogue and insane mushroom. Now I know that they were just being faithful to the original.
  • If you told me this was all just an elaborate joke and the real game wasn't like this, I would believe you. On the other hand, this IS Scott we're talking about- I'm just shocked his writing was always this dark
  • Chipper was a convicted war criminal, while in service his comrades refereed to him as “the woodchipper” due to his brutal often unnecessary ways of killing. Though a offical number has never been given his body count is estimated to be millions. After the war chipper was asked his to answer for his crimes, the only thing he ever Sayed was “It was funny”
  • Some of this stuff shows that the elements introduced in FNAF (mainly the books) like humans being robots, ghosts, grief and anger leading to living creations, eating people, etc. were already used by Scott, just another result of Scott taking his experience and interests and inserting them into FNAF When are we gonna get those war crimes in FNAF though

You know how they say that a writer works in grooves (essentially that a writer tends to repeat aspects of their previous works)? I wonder if a lot of FNaF could be better understood when discussing repeated themes from Scott’s previous titles

OH GOD LOTODOTS WITH A MOUTH

The way Chipper acts is eerily similar to William Even down to wearing a suit to deceive people only to become obsessed with wearing it
  • I love your content! You always cover the most vague yet interesting topics. Can't wait for more from you <3

I remember finding an APK for my mobile back in the high school 7 years ago and enjoying it a lot

Bad Dads aren't just in FNAF, it would seem. Scott.....you ok, dude?

Hey, I saw you make a video on Plushtraps "small" significance, so i was wondering if you could do a dive into Nightmarionne. The character has always fascinated me as their importance seems to always be strangely overstated. In fnaf 4 they were just a non canon enemy for the halloween dlc but moving forward they've had some important roles. Like being the icon for UCN. Appearing in Fnaf Vr over other nightmare animatronics. The nightmarionne security bots in security breach. And also, their plushies being hidden in spots across the map. Its weird for a supposedly "non canon" character to recieve all this. I'd love to see your take on it!
  • Isn't it interesting how Chipper & Sons is scarier than security breach
  • I love this game and I'm glad somebody else i talking about it
