So here were are again with another Ableton Push video. This time covering a topic that's not specific to the Push 3 but covers just about all Push devices released in the past...
Today I talk about the Repeat button and how I found a useful way to use it so wanted to share this with you.
It's a little bit of a different way to quickly add repetitive percussion (or any) sounds that aren't so glaringly obvious (sound level wise) and don't require you to be so precise in your pressing of the pads.

P.S. Yes I know I say AB-leton instead of ABLE-ton but this video was shot before I started training myself to say it the correct way ;-)

Also if you have swing enabled your repeats will be swung. And also you can lay in 16ths at a low velocity, and then switch to eighths and repeat with a more velocity over the sixteenths. That will give an "up" feel.
