Owner: it's not meant to sit in traffic. It's built for the track Also owner: please, be gentle
  • @laurenmp7486
The fact the owner of the 918 Spyder just let them go all out while the GT3 guy is like "be careful" is cracking me up. Also good on the owner of the 918 for actually letting them enjoy it.

Vin "its not meant to be driven for groceries, its meant to be on the track" also Vin " how about a mild lap"

The sheer level of joy that the guys felt driving the 918 around is EXACTLY why Porsche is my all time favorite car maker. They make cars for the sole purpose of having the most fun while driving

918 really has a timeless design. Can’t believe it’s almost 10 years old.
  • Honestly, I'm struggling to comprehend and appreciate just how much work went into this episode; all the members of the cast in different parts of the country, talking to significant individuals about their vehicles and some details. The editing, the audio work, the vfx, everything.

    Go, little 924, go!

Dude about 5 years ago i got a 1983? OR 86? 944 Na for $800. It took me two years of weekend wrenching to restore that thing. I loved it. Handled so well and ran great with the stock engine when i got it all going! I went cheap as F with the restoration to stock. $2k paint job and all... Never thought anyone would offer to buy it. was just a fun little ride to add to my collection. One day at a Cars and Coffee, a dude made me an offer i couldn't refuse. Bought it off me for 3 times the value of the car. Something about how it had sentimental value because his dad had the same color and interior, etc. Wife was super happy since she thought it was a money sink...I regret selling that car every day of my life.

You guys should build 944s for HiLow

Whoever owns that 918 deserves a medal for being that cool.
  • @backwoodstherapy
The absolute joy on everyone's faces as they drove the Spyder was absolutely infectious.
  • @Asdosie
as an owner of a 987 cayman, so happy to see this get the love it deserves. Seriously for the cost NOTHING compares.
  • @rhouser1280
That 1987 for 3k would probably be the only Porsche I could afford
  • Love how polite and awkward James was with Magnus lol. He was super respectful and appreciative. That’s what the car community is about

As a lifelong Porsche admirer, this video was just what I needed. Beautiful cars. Loved the reactions in the 918. Possibly, my second favourite car of all time after the McLaren F1.
  • @bryantharris5914
I look forward to the 918 being in the next installment of High Low
  • @kaydenolson2042

You guys make me feel like I'm right in the passenger seat with you. Has always meant a lot to me. Keep on being such amazing, genuine people.
