Stay strong Marietta. I almost stopped for the night at the Circle K Valero truck stop, i35 exit 15, Sunday night on my way to Kansas. I stopped in Springer OK exit 40. I feel your pain Marietta. My home was damaged by hurricane Hannah July 2020. Makes one humble and greatful for the blessings we have.

I remember surviving an F3 in Stillwater in 1990 with funnels less than a few hundred metres from the shrieking frame of my rented duplex with nowhere to hide safely with my young family - a mattress in the bathroom. Some homes were levelled and major damage from the multiple funnels. Some of the kindest people I know live in this very challenging location. Bless you All.

I'm so sorry to see this. But we in the Midwest are resilient and we take care of each other. You're all in my thoughts tonight.
  • How would you feel if you lost everything except the clothes you had on? Probably shocked, confused, hurt. These people are strong and I believe they will get thru this. I've been praying every night since this happened.
