I was camping about 5 miles off of a hiking trail in these woods back in 1972. It was just me and my dog staying in a tiny tent for a week to "get away from it all". One night I was sitting next my campfire and my dog started barking...and then ran into the woods. I chased after Misty...and after about 30 minutes...I found her. I started to walk back to my campsite...and my tent was smashed down and my canned goods were stolen. I started to walk around the area with Misty...and I saw one of my cans of pork and beans lying on the ground in front of me. It had been squeezed so hard that the top was missing...and it was empty. A human could not have squezzed the can with that much strength. Then I found a can of Spagettios of mine that was squeezed open as well. Then I heard a loud "thump" sound coming from the direction of my canp site. I walked back to my tent and noticed that a huge rock laying on my tent. It was a massive granite rock that was about 6 feet in diameter...and 4 foot tall. A human could not have lifted that rock. Also...a human would have used my can opener to open the food cans...since it was laying next to my food supply. I grabbed my dog and left that awful place. I haven't slept in a tent since then...and I never returned to those woods...

I'm now 66 years old. When I was probably 16 my best friend and I went with his older sister and her boyfriend and a few others up into the woods in Oregon. Darrell my best friend and I were the youngest. I remember this other older guy that was there with us that I thought was one of the toughest guys I'd ever known. Anyway we went up to this old gravel pit that was at the bottom of this bowl of mountains . We were in 2 different cars. We were there for awhile when we heard this enormous yell/growling sound from towards the top of the mountain, then whatever this thing was it started running down the mountain towards our location. You could hear its yelling and huge branches being ripped through as it quickly came down. This thing was hauling and it was dark. I just remember looking at that tough guys eyes. I saw pure fear. We all jumped into our cars and got out of there. It was incredible and extremely scary.
  • I can't believe their brother would lock his 2 little brothers out like that, what a freaking coward he was, he's the one who took them out into the woods and then cowardly locks them out. I wouldn't have ever talked to him again. What a total Ahole.

Parent of the Year award for George's dad, who let the kids camp out alone, having seen one of those things in the barn
  • They need to have a new season. I love the woods and all the cryptid stories. Come on Travel Channel, more seasons! 😭 🥺

There is just No way I would ever go camping, nor walking in the woods alone ever again if something like this happened to me!!!
  • @user-ji8tk1dt1c
Second story with Matt blocking the deck with the chairs lol but then going into the cabin and leaving the door wide open 😂

"I was really afraid, so I ran after it to get a better look" - Jack 🤦
  • @gregsayles9253
So the father was afraid for his kid & wanted to "get the hell out of there"--but then says they need to "take down the tent first" 😅--& then the son runs after the "predator" beast that could kill him, despite fearing for both their lives--Sounds like "Dumb & Dumber" to me 😂

I’ve been out in the woods for years, apparently I’ve never done anything to make one of them show themselves, thankfully!. The older brother that locked out his little brothers will NEVER have their full trust again.

My eldest brother was our worst tormentor growing up, but he would NEVER have abandoned us like that because he's proven it over the last 65 years of being our protector. I gotta give him a call and thank him again.

I like how this is presented. No extra dramatization. No dramatic music. No false photos misrepresenting what is actually seen or false words to catch our attention. Just straight from the people who experienced it. Some scenes may be recreated but not overly so. Thank you so very much. Subscribed.
  • The audacity of Jack 😂😂 say he was terrified but chased after big foot 😂😂😂
  • @coffeechi1869
Would be nice if they finished one story before starting another one
  • @donnasomers5397
I would NEVER go outside if I saw that in my yard. What is wrong with people.
  • @PacificMidwest
George's dad knew it was out there, and proceeded to let the boys camp out in the woods by themselves. Makes perfect sense.

When I was 12 years old me and a friend went camping before school started. Back then there was no orchards and homes just the river a railroad tracks and thick thick woods way before I-82 . Anyway around 3 in the morning I heard Ed saying "What the hell is that I get up and put on my glasses and on the other side of the railroad tracks was this huge thing standing there looking at us and Ed took off and I froze standing there. This huge thing was looking at me like what are you doing here? I reached down and put on my baseball cap and just like that it hit me RUN and I took off as I hit a clearing in my mind it was right behind me and my baseball cap blew off my head and in my mind it was trying to grab me and my legs just took off faster. I pasted Ed and kept running until I reached the old Donald Store and stood under the little light bulb light on the front of the old store. Ed finally came running up and said "you left me". We never went back to get the camping gear.
