Note: you only have to unscrew the screws in the under the metal case, I was learning as I went as it came with no instructions and I couldn't find anything online.

I have the same problem as you with the shifter. 1 day it worked fine and the next day windows do not detect the shifter. i bought the shifter on amazon but it has been 1 year since i got it. If i want to take the same replacement part , who do i write? amazon or thrustmaster support? and do you have to pay something to get it or its free of charge?

Mine went after only 7 months so I got a replacement PCB for free (invoice that came with it did say 35 euros though). Interestingly they also emailed me a PDF file on how to replace it, it seems this is quite common. I think they should be fixing them all for free as obviously there is an inherent issue.

ive recently gotten water on my pcb for my th8a, it connects but i cannot shift to gears, would thrustmaster be able to replace it?

I had the same problem just the other day coincidentally I got new pedals and had just sorted them out after fiddling with cables and then the shifter shat itself I thought it was because of the pedals turns out not

My Shifter doesn't show that when I plug it in, and I still can't shift with it, can anyone help me?

I think mine has this issue just went to use it today can't get it to appear on either of my pcs. Also only a year old and barely used it
