What a spring game he has. And I dunno who else read about that contacts story, but he got contacts 2 weeks before the spring game and now he's catching everything. It's a good story, and I'm glad, cause he can be effective in that slot along with tay odoms and t-rob. Especially when Tate is throwin to him! Go Blue!

I'll admit it: Roundtree proved me wrong. He's a legit playmaker. I hope to see him have a 1000 yard season as a full time starter next season (BTW, it helps that he buffed up to 174. There's no way he does what he did last season if he was still 154).
  • @Poole1Dan
admitting you're wrong about something is NOT contradicting yourself, its accepting the facts as they've come to pass and changing your mind in accordance.
  • @WHY639
i think he has the potential to be a great WR if 2010 season he will really get a shot since RR gives everyone a shot at playtime if he proves hes good enough he can start sooner rather than later
  • @Poole1Dan
I think next season you'll see senior Greg Mathews and redshirt sophomore Junior Hemingway start at outside receiver, and then in 2010, Roundtree will be in the mix along with Toney Clemons, Darryl stonum, James Rogers, Cameron Gordon, Ricardo Miller, and Jeremy Jackson to replace Mathews. We'll see how it all shakes out. Go Blue!
  • @Poole1Dan
Its not like Michigans receivers are that bad either. An athlete as talented as Roundtree will see plenty of receptions throughout his career. Michigan is WR university. Roundtree's time will come.
  • @Poole1Dan
@Brewhaman ....obviously means you support Robinson as the starter over Forcier. so yes, you did say Stonum would be the starting outside receiver, albeit indirectly.
  • @cdot2four
Yeah no kidding he could go to Purdue and be the NCAA's all-time leader in receptions and still go undrafted like Stubblefield did.
  • @cuhbf
I'll second that, nice pickup Rod
  • @Poole1Dan
@InRichRodWeTrust I have stuck by Michigan even as we've gone 13-18 over a miserable two-and-a-half season stretch. And I believe that one day, be it under Roch Rodriguez or, more likely, a different head coach, the Wolverines will return to prominence as one of the top teams in the land year in and year out. It may take awhile with the hole we are digging ourselves, but I think it'll happen eventually.
  • @Poole1Dan
"And Tressel's crooked ass can go to hell as well!" The fact that tressell is already criticizing RR shows that he is intimidated by RR. The Buckeyes winning streak against the Wolverines ends next November. Go Blue!
  • @Poole1Dan
well, you are right about ESPN gettibng alot of facts wrong, but I think rivals is pretty dependable. If Roundtree is really 186, thats GREAT, cause now he is big enough to actually become a playmaker. He won't contribute enxt season, but if he's really as big as scouts say he is, then he'll be a star down the road. At 154 pounds, he ain't worth nothing. But at 186, he can be Jason Avant. Go Blue!
  • @Poole1Dan
"You are so clueless, he is saying proportionally they are about the same." doesn't matter. proportionally, 1/1 is the same as 1000/1000, but in football, that doesn't matter. what matters is that 1000 is more then 1, and in the case of Roundtree va. Jackson, jeremy has 4 inches and 25 pounds on Roundtree, hence making his chances of becoming a star much more significant then Roundtrees.
  • @Poole1Dan
@Brewhaman I also said that Stonum would not start at outside receiver and would lose his jpb to a receiver who's way better then he is in Junior Hemingeay. I was dead on with that prediction as well. Hemingway started 10 games to Stonums 2 and averaged 3 yards more per catch then Stonum did while also having more yards and touchdowns. I could not have been more right about my predictions on Stonum as a receiver. Now with this in mind......
  • @Poole1Dan
@Brewhaman "you never showed they "were NOT easy" you missed the part where I re-worded that phrase. I switched it to 'then when I ALLUDE TO the possibility of them not being easy,' which is a fact
  • @Poole1Dan
@Brewhaman "you can't possibly know who's who on the team" you do not need to be with the team, on the staff, or attend two-a-days in order to see that Butler started only 3 games in 2008, rarely had the ball thrown his way in those 3 games, and then never saw PT at TE from then on out. so if a player like Butler plays in three games but then gets an NFL free agent contract anyways, the correct logical deduction is that Butler was NOT utilized (for whatever dumb reason). tell me where I'm wrong
  • @Poole1Dan
"jason avant was way more than 186." I know that. Roundtree has been called a clone of Avant minus the 200 pound frame by every reliable recruiting source. Thats why I said he could be the next Avant if he bulks up to 186, which combined with his 6'0 height would put him at a reasonable size. Roundtree can't be the next Avant at 154, but at 186 9which, again, goes along with his 6;0 height), he will likely be a playmaker. So, i hope he's 186 like WHY639 says he is
  • @Poole1Dan
@Brewhaman "tell me again about how good of a fan you are" I think I've done that enough already.
  • @Poole1Dan
rivals and ESPN both have him listed as 6'0, 154
  • @fairbornchick
This mo fo wised up and will be heading to ann arbor woooooo GO BLUE!!!!!
