  • Car is not just numbers, for daily driver I choose Polestar 2😉

I love my new 2024 Polestar 2 LRDM. The range is definitely good enough for the occasional long trip. I had a Model 3 previously, and I don’t miss Tesla at all. The cruisecontrol and Pilot assist is a lot smoother. My avg consumption is 17.4 kwh/100km and I think that is close to what I had in the Tesla. 19 inch wheels on this vs 18 on the Tesla.
  • I get 26 kw per 100 miles in Uk, surprised about what you got. I use the coasting mode
  • @Janne248
Hmmmm, as you say in the video weather must have affected a lot. I drove 415 km with my 2021 polestar 2 performance spending 69,7 kWh on 23 of june 2024. I used Pirelli P Zero 4 tires. A new 2024 must be better with bigger battery and more efficient front motor. Average speed 82 km/h and dry warm weather.
  • I hope for a Polestar 2 station wagon with low tyre noise, built in EU, would be my pick
  • @e-redj
The tyres alone, ev tyres on the Tesla vs performance tyres on the Polestar, increase consumption by about 1-2 kWh/100km. All in all a good result, but I still would never buy the performance version of the PS2, as a normal driver as I consider myself would almost never be able to enjoy that plus on sporting riding performance the car can deliver vs the normal LRDM car.

"A little bit more expensive"? Add some packages and you are easily over 70-75k, even more with Performance! That's 20k more than a Tesla 3 LR, so in which universe is this a fair comparison? In that price range you have i4, ID7, Ioniq 5N, M3P and even used Taycans/ Audi Gt's as competitors.

I must admit I love Tesla cars. I have 2. I am not fond of Elon but Tesla cars are product of many smart engineers from all over the world. Looking at Efficiency. Safety. Software. Storage. Updates. Seamless charging. Financial stability of company, affordability Tesla is better product. For people who dont like Tesla CEO, it’s Design language, Missing some buttons and stalks, money not important can choose another. Some companies will not be around (remember fisker). I wish all these companies become profitable. Choose wisely my friends. It’s a big investment.
