** AN ASMR CHIT-CHAT ABOUT LIFE **

In response to some of your communications with me, I thought I'd share a little bit about my perspectives on ASMR, on LIFE, and on getting through some tough times!

(I must stress: This is in no way, shape, or form any kind of psychological advice. It's just from me to you in hopes you can see more of the flowers in life!)

Thanks for being on my channel!

Very warmly,

Jeannie

I've been listening to ASMR since 2010, before it was even called "ASMR", searching for whisper videos to help me sleep and stay calm through anxiety. ASMR has blown up since then, in many new and wonderful ways, but you bring a certain amount of nostalgia and authenticity that brought me to these videos over a decade ago. This video, in particular, is one of the best I've ever listened to. Can't wait to see your channel continue to explode :)

It’s only been two videos and I’ve fallen in love with her. She’s just so sweet and genuine and gives such strong nurturing and motherly vibes I love it. So comforting and soothing.

I never had a grandmother but I imagine this is what it feels like. Thank you!

I like how meaningful your intro is, and how you express such lovely gratitude. Also, I like how you ask us how we are. To be honest, as for how I am, I’ve been struggling for a long while. Don’t really want to get into it… self harm, and an eating disorder… but I’m working hard to get better! It’s really hard, but I will continue to take things one day at a time. Thanks for the peace and smiles 🥹❤️‍🩹
  • I literally just found your channel (thanks to the youtube algorithm) and i have never felt more relaxed and comfortable, i really think this is the best asmr ive ever heard. Im also extremely sorry for your losses but i admire your approach for dealing with grief.I think everyone should be able to take that approach.I want to say thank you for this, truly this is really helping me and im sure it will help me in the future on numerous occasions. Also ive felt this connection to myself that ive never had before so again THANK YOU!!!

You really did take these things in your life and use them to become a beautiful nourishing soul. I am so glad you are making ASMR to share yourself with the world. I think there is an enormous amount of truth and wisdom in this video

I am very sorry to hear about the losses of your brothers, son, and your father too even though his death was a natural one. Sending love ❤️
  • Your channel is beyond ASMR for me. I almost think of you as a life coach. There are so many channels out there that have sounds, roleplays, etc but I feel like you've created something entirely new and entirely special. I love your words of wisdom. Your kids are so lucky to have you as their mom. My path is to be more like you!

the way you talk about grief and loss is very meaningful. It reminds me of something I read once that stuck with me: “People think that grief slowly gets smaller with time. In reality, grief stays the same size, but slowly, life begins to grow bigger around it.” (Louise Tonkin) thank you for sharing your story (and your channel!) ❤

Timing is nuts sometimes. This is exactly what I needed to hear to begin my week♥️

“Surrender to something good.” So many of us need to hear this. ❤️

The way she just describes how she first found asmr as a child, I can relate on soo many level’s. I never knew what it was, but I always enjoy the sound of certain thing’s or how my 3rd grade teacher would softly read
  • I love the open, genuine, vulnerable, and heartfelt nature of your content, Jeannie. Had the great fortune of stumbling across this video by a random recommendation from YouTube. I subscribed to your channel immediately. You have a personality and nature that is extremely calming and most importantly genuine! I chuckle at your “blah blah blah” branding. It’s like listening to an old friend as opposed to someone new. It also takes a lot of time to interact with your audience, and you reply to everyone. That’s very thoughtful and kind. Please keep your content coming. You’re a natural! 😊🫂
  • Jeannie, as a 38 year-old, single mother of two, I think that you are source of inspiration. You are gentle like water, strong like a rock and resilient like a blade of grass. My daughter is 9 years old... We are Italians, she doesn't understand you but she loves you...
  • @Rozareee
Jeannie, you may not see this but I felt compelled to write this anyway. I watched another one of your videos and you reminded so much of how my grandmother used to talk to me- Warmly. With love. Since I wrote that comment about 2.5 weeks ago, I've watched this video EVERY night. I suffer from clinical depression and there are days, many of them, that are HARD. Where I catastrophise everything, where I'm so low I don't think it can get worse, where intrusive thoughts make my brain run at a million miles per hour. Yet, there's just something about this video, very specifically the "I want you to know the flowers are out there, even when you're in the weeds." just makes me zoom out for a second and pause. It's comforting. It's calming. But most importantly, when I'm laying in bed at night, when my brain won't stop and I can't get out of my own head- It just helps to change my way of thinking. I guess what I'm saying, in short, is that I'm very grateful for this video and for you. Your videos help people in a very real way and I wanted to make sure you knew how this one helped me. Thank you again.
  • I am so grateful that Maria recommended you so I could discover your channel (well deserved praise from the queen herself!) You are have such a comforting demeanor and soothing voice and I was immediately hooked. This is the exact style of ASMR I’ve been searching for. Can’t wait for more blah blah blahs!!
