11:50 I loved "walking on eggshells"!! in Turkish, we similarly say "diken üstünde yürümek" which means "walking on thorns" or, "mayın tarlasında yürümek" which is "to walk on a minefield" same meaning! there's also "ip üstünde yürümek" which means "to walk on a string" but it means more like you're in danger 😅
  • @RN-km8jl
Love this one ! Need more of your advanced English lessons!

You're an exciting creature, Lucy. You were the reason of my today's 15 mins and 6 secs smile. Fabulous!
  • I'm always learning from these videos. As an American English speaker, I've never heard the expression "short and sharp." Here, we'd say "short and sweet." As in: I know everyone is busy, so I'll keep this short and sweet. There's another sense for the phrase "down to." If someone is "down to" or "down for" it means they want something. "I've worked hard all week and now I'm down to party." "I skipped breakfast so now I'm really down for some lunch." I agree with your pronunciation of "integral." I use "in-teg-ral" to refer to a vital part of something and "in-te-gral" for the math function. Thanks for the outtakes, by the way!
