The first mobile telephoto lens I got as a video reporter was about 3 inches long, weighed a ton, and had the blurriest image ever. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I cannot wait to try this. Awesome video.
  • @innatemusic
Thank you, sir! Got mine a few weeks ago. Great stuff.
  • Waiting for mine in the mail along with anamorphic from them. Decided to upgrade from my moment lens.

I have both the .75 and 1.7. When combined with the 14 Pro Max I have the incredible range of choices of 18 / 24 / 35 / 40 / 80 / (130)mm. These lenses do fit on the lightweight SmallRig cage if you add the 17mm lens adapter plate and then screw on a 17-37mm adapter. Works superbly and within weight specs for smaller gimbals. That said, I am seldom pulling out a gimbal nowadays as action mode is so stable. Great review, thanks!

Thanks for the great info, very much appreciated. Very good research. You saved me from making a purchasing mistake.
  • I just ordered the new Sandmarc tele 58mm, it comes with the case and it seems to be a cheaper solution to the beastgrip. They updated the lens a few months ago so it should work flawlessy with the 13/14 series of iphones. you shoud check them aswell!
  • @LouisLuzuka
WOW tele on tele is finally working!!! 😮❤
  • @azsqa6286
What gimbal would you recommend with this setup? Ideally something that could handle even more weight, like an external battery, ssd, monitor, etc.
  • @melgross
These do look good. I have a lot of phone lenses. I’ve always been somewhat disappointed and stopped using them. That includes the Zeiss lenses they made for a while. This looks nice. I’d love to see you try this with the new 15 Pro Max. Mine is coming in tomorrow (Monday October 2nd) and I’m now eager to know whether I should buy the whole rig and lens.
  • @Anggelos876
What combination do you think would be best for a youtube talking head for which a shallow depth of field is wanted for the background, using this beastgrip setup?
  • @coryinmotion
Great video, this lens does look incredible and the depth of field is fantastic. Sandmarc also has a new Telephoto lens that I'm hoping will perform this well. Waiting for mine to arrive! Would love to see your take on their products as well.
  • @captainkilos
I have a Sandmarc tele lens and it works flawlessly with the iPhone 14 Pro. Highly recommend
  • @gman8557
Do they make a lens that zooms good?
