Producer & Choreographer react to Jimin - Filter

I love Filter and it's definitely super polished and sexy but it's definitely one of Jimin's most chill choreos haha. His other two solos Serendipity and Lie show off his technique way more. I would love to see Lindsey break them down! He's definitely one of the most versatile dancers in the industry. Brian Puspos choreographed Serendipity and you can see him watching and commenting on it on the Steezy channel in their Jimin reaction video 😊 he choreographed Butterfly for BTS as well!

If I remember correctly Jimin was not feeling a 100% during these two days and he still pulled off such a flawless performance. I swear he is like the living and breathing deity of dance.

Filter's lyrics are a play on how fans project different filters on him and see him the way they want to instead of the way he really is hence the different outfit changes showing his different personas. It's one of my favorite songs off MOTS for sure 😊

Ironic that you broke down Jimin's entire performance through the filters of every other artist you named. Exactly matches the lyrics. He'll be whatever you perceive him as, through whatever filters you place on him, and behind all that is his real Jimin self.

jimin is a contemporary dancer, that's why his movements and hands look so delicate, if you want to see more of how brilliant he is in contemporary I recommend you to watch the music video of black swan and his live performance of his solo song serendipity (a beautiful r&b song.)

♦️Jimin said in an interview that he wanted the concept of the song to be to present himself to the world in many different ways! Jimin also said that it's about perspective & prejudices as well!! Aside from saying in the song that I can be anything you (army) want me to be for you, I believe that Jimin is also trying to tell so many army that keep saying things like he's insecure, weak, or helpless, and needs protecting, or just cute or sexy, or just any one thing, whatever army indeed wants to think he is, isn't the real him! That he wears whatever 'filter' that army wants him to be, but indeed in reality is so not him!!

That's why army are continually surprised when they see a glimmer of the real Jimin, the way more self assured, demonstrative, take charge, confident, charismatic, alluring, at times sexy, person that kills on stage! So this (pure genius) song, that the CEO 'Hit-Man Bang' (called that since way back when, as a producer, whatever he was involved in became a hit) Mr. Bang Si Hyuk, himself, was actually involved in writing the ever so genius lyrics, that Jimin had a hand in as well.

The song's lyrics have more then one meaning!! So Jimin has pretty much been doing this since the beginning, playing the role of whatever army seems to prefer for him, but in actuality, hardly anyone knows the real Jimin! So much more then what many army believe him to be. Plus since Jimin never talks much about all his amazing past achievements, abilities, and accomplishments, even before ever joining BTS, many army are still unaware of so much.

Jimin is one of the unique artists of our time, I would say I don't know anyone at his level. He is a very versatile person. He is amazing and very talented.
And its beauty is indescribable

Speaking of thread mill, they sing while on a thread mill to strengthen their lung capacity to be able to sing live while dancing without sounding out-of-breath. They also practice their choreography while singing and wearing face/flu mask for the same reason. BTS are the greatest performers alive!

Also, Jimin is a contemporary/modern dance major and is the top in the whole department.

For me Jimin is first of all a dancer. He worked a lot, and continues to work on his voice his singing, but he started years after dance. As a child he went to clases, academies to study different hip-hop styles but also different martial arts, so the control over his body, the discipline, and then the elegance in movement he had and showed more of when he chosed contemporary dance as speciality. ❤️Jimin

The backing track was a little too loud on day 1 and masked jimin's live vocals 😅 day 2 had much better sound mixing but he killed it nevertheless. Thank you for the great reaction 😊 I really enjoyed it
