Watching Emmitt and Barry its blatantly obvious who the better back was, and which back had the better team around him. It's not even debatable how much better, in terms of pure skill and ability, Barry was compared to Emmitt. Emmitt was a good back. But if you put Barry on that Cowboys team, he would've had video game like stats & set records that no one would ever come close to touching.

I remember watching this with my old man. After the Cowboys went up 7 zip in no time, he turned to me and said the Lions will shut them down the rest of the way and win this on a field goal. I've been looking for highlights of this game for years!

One of the biggest games of my life as a Lion fan ( 56 yrs old ) I remember Wayne Fontes saying the Lions were going to Dallas and show them what the Honolulu Blue and Silver is all about , this game was personal for Barry and the Lions , the media criticized Barry saying he doesn't follow his blockers and makes his first cut five yards behind the line of scrimmage whereas Emmit made his first cut five yards down field because of the great blocking, Lomas Brown said before the game in the locker room that Barry had a look in his eye he'd never seen before , I celebrated , I cried , I drank beer as that was a win for their character and toughness at the time , the Lions of the 90's were good enough to compete for a Superbowl but Washington, Dallas and San Francisco were to powerful in the NFC back then , I still have my Lions Starter jacket I bought in 1990

Man, watching this brings a tear to my eye. The 90s lions were so good and talented. It's a shame they only won 1 playoff game.

I watched this game in our barracks at Ft. Mcoy Wisconsin attending Advanced NCO school. We had to get up early the next day but l didn't care because the Lions were playing the Cowboys on MNF. Most of the guys started watching the game, but by the time it went into overtime there was just a couple of us left. After Hanson kicked that field goal to win it l hurried over to shut the tv off and hit the sack. I was so happy the next day l wasn't even tired.

I was living in Detroit until that year and remember watching that game on TV. It was amazing. Hoping for some of that this year and tomorrow night especially #onepride 🦁

This game will forever be etched in my mind. Watched at my buddies house which was full of Dallas fans. As soon as I saw them come out in those sweet ole uni’s I was like it’s gonna be a good night. I wanted this win sooooo bad 😅

I loved growing up watching this era of the Detroit Lions with Barry Sanders, Herman Moore, Lomas Brown, Jason Hanson, Chris Spielman, and then some. Let’s get the win at Dallas this Saturday night. Let’s go!
  • Brings back awesome memories. It was a team effort and can't wait for the game tomorrow night. Go Lions!!!
  • Herman Moore and Barry Sanders were great for the Lions. Fantastic to see the Lions beat the Cowboys on the road. What a game!!!

Watched this my junior year at Michigan State. My roomates and I, some cold beer, and Lions/Cowboys MNF. Good times.

Our Lions smell the blood all the way from Detroit. Lions will do it again today. 💯

Scott Mitchell had a strong arm I will give him credit for that. He wasn't very accurate with it a lot of the time, but he did good in this game. GO LIONS!!!
