Even back then, I knew The Rock was too good, and too big of a star to just stay in the WWE. The man was a natural born entertainer. You can't teach this type of charisma and talent. Even during his matches he would do these outlandish thing that no body else does such as doing commentary in the middle of the match, and grabbing the camera to show his opponent being beat down, or the little things like him wiggling his legs before stomping someone, or looking up to his hand and spitting in it while combo punching his opponent. A true showman through and through. I mean, the guy made an elbow drop one of the most over and iconic signature moves ever lol. We will never see a star like him ever again in the wrestling industry.

Hollywood Rock was already bigger than WWE and it was incredibly obvious. He was so entertaining that it didn't matter if he was heel or face. It's insane how this only lasted 2-3 months yet it produced more highlights than 99% of wrestlers' entire careers.
-
Hollywood Rock is pure Entertainment 😂
-
"Stronger than a bear, faster than a buck. The biggest thing to hit Canada 'cause the Maple Leaf suck"
-
1998-2003 The Rock was a complete package
-
“You have a lot of class and it’s all low” The Rock. 😂😂😂
-
Hollywood Rock. Best version.
-
The Rock is a national treasure in professional wrestling. Every time he's had the people turn on him it's brought out the best in him. The Rock knows how to read a crowd. We don't deserve you.
-
@18:40 The music, the look, the walk. God Tier. The biggest star in the history of this industry as Eric Bischoff rightly mentioned before this entrance
-
Oh sweet.WWE remembers Hollywood Rock too? That was his most funniest run.Had me laughing at his promos.
-
Hollywood Rock is the greatest version of The Rock of all time! 🔥👑
-
one of the greatest short runs of all time, i took this run for granted
-
Thank you “cody crybabies” for unleashing this rock again in sports entertainment
-
This version of The Rock deserves special mention in the Hall Of Fame!
-
"We lived in Toronto, Yaaaay!" That had me dying!🤣
-
BEST character arc in WWE history. Hollywood Rock manage to have 3 main event level rivalry in 3 months, and all of em entertaining as hell
-
That cellphone joke will never get old 😆
-
What makes Rock so great is that he's not afraid to switch roles. So many wrestlers fight against being heels/faces that it hurts their careers. Roman telling Vince that he was going heel and that was final is the best ting he ever did. Hollywood Rock was brief but it will always be iconic.
-
Hollywood Rock was so short lived. Arguably the greatest heel persona was gone at the snap of a finger.

This was my favorite character arc in WWE history. Very organic, funny, and entertaining. Hogan, Austin, and Goldberg might be household names, but Rocky manage to have 3 main event level rivalry in 3 months was AMAZING.
