  • My mom is a Kindergarten teacher, and sometimes she comes home with some of the weirdest stories that her kid's told her.

The plastic babies had me rolling my kid has been hiding babies around the school for years. She even convinced a guy doing some work on the sidewalk to put one in the cement he was laying.

Mrs Rogers stories remind me of my son when he was younger and my grandma asked him if he was a Christian. He was offended because he told her NO I’m American 😂😂😂
  • I love this podcast as a student and both of my parents are teachers.👨🏻‍🏫👩🏼‍🏫

“They might be ratchet, But Im the patron saint of ratchet kids!” Hahahha
  • I had my first awesome "things said in classrooms" moment the other week 😆 A student was amazed to learn that technically, males can produce milk. He asked me if I was true, and i was like, "well, technically yes, but it would take a lot of science & hormones" but he took the idea and ran with it. He pinched himself, thinking he would start making milk. I had to tell them no, that's not how it works, even for women. He thought that we could just make milk on demand! And why did he want to produce milk so bad? So he and his family wouldn't have to buy milk! He wanted to just make the milk for his family to drink! Because apparently he also thought that humans could just make GALLONS of milk with our bodies!!!

As a mother to two kids in school. I absolutely LOVE these stories. Kids are NOT easy and I commend yall every thing you do and offering your wisdom to our little ones to help guide them. Thank you all for working past school hours to give your kiddos a great school experience. Much love ❤❤
  • Confession time!!! I went to a very small church school from pre-3 to 9th, and my class of 15 had all been together since pre-3. We were extremely close and extremely mischievous. Because the school was so small, we had most of the same teachers every year, so we developed close relationships with our teachers. This meant we felt some sort of twisted loyalty to them, so whenever we had a sub, our united mission as a class was to be as irritating as possible without actually being disruptive. In 5th, we started the practice of name-swapping if we had a sub. That was fun for a while, but we got bored with it pretty quickly. Did we sit back and go “eh, we had a good run! Maybe this has run its course!”? No, no we did not. We enlisted the help of the 6th graders, and we started just trading places with them. We caused so much chaos. We were so proud. Honestly… still kind of proud of how devious we were. Some of those subs were legit creepy. Like I said, small church school, so the subs were usually just community volunteers 😬

One time there was a teacher (before I came to this school) who was super mean to kids. No one was safe from her, not even her favorite kids. Like she hated kids. so collectively my whole grade drove her out of the district. They would be super loud in her class, move her papers, lock her outta class. She now lives in Alaska. She is no longer a teacher. I NEVER condone being mean to teachers, they make us who we are, but after what I heard what she did I don't even feel bad.
  • My dad passed away at 211 am on Dec 08, 2019 and I had to call my grandma (his mom) about a hour after he passed and she told me she woke up at 211 and didn't know why but knew something was wrong.... crazy how connections work with family members.... RIP dad we love and miss you
  • @hailsdails
I’m in college getting an education degree and I love watching this podcast while doing homework
  • @mikes164
I’m heterosexual and a father of 4 and I’m secure enough in my sexuality to say that Mr. Williams is indeed a “Hot Daddy” or a Zaddy as I’d like to say 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  • When my sister was little (7 years difference, she’s younger) she would say things like “I've been hanging out with papa loux” (our great grandpa who died) and of course it creeped me out but when I asked her about it she explained it in a way to where he was now kinda like an imaginary friend. Honestly, young kids deal with grief WAAAAAAAY differently than adults or even older kids.
  • I taught preschool for years and I'm so glad to know somebody else has a "mystery turd" story!
  • @myawelch1669
Both my parents are teachers and let me tell you they have some of the most hilarious stories. Teachers are deffo underrated in the crazy life experiences department.
  • @Chris-wl7nl
OMG! I feel soooo much better about some of the things I hear! I watched a kid vape in the hall. He told me he just sneezed.
  • @Emmettkarr
Posting this again it would be amazing to see a response. So You guys should talk about student fights and what to do. One of our favorite long term subs was fired due to not breaking up a fight fast enough according to the school. Keep in mind he is 75 and is recovering from cancer.
  • I forgot how random children could be the kid playing with ashes had me dying 😂
  • I loved this! As a pre-K teacher it’s always good to feel like you aren’t alone
