New Universal Studios Tram Tour 60th Anniversary Ride - Jaws, Bates Motel, Earthquake & More in 2024

The World-Famous Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year, and has received a number of limited time upgrades to this classic attraction. Doc Brown now meets outside of Courthouse Square (9:46), the Jurassic Park area features a fresh look (18:47), the Earthquake scene has been completely rebuilt (27:38) with the same classic flooding, explosion and subway crash sequences that has been beloved for several decades. Most importantly, guests now disembark the tram at the Bates Motel to photos with iconic Universal Studios figures (40:04).

The 60th Anniversary festivities run from April 26 – August 11, 2024

    Happy 60th! I remember the Cylon base, ice tunnel, and the bridge falling apart! Great memories! They had guests play in a Star Trek episode on stage once if I’m correct and an airplane!! 😂

    The tram ride is fun. I remember the old stuff too. I think if they are going to keep the Jaws ride, they should update it. It's been the same since I first rode it in the 70's. People came out in shark suites to promote the brand new attraction and it was so exciting. Now, it seems a bit dated compared to the advanced Kong ride, Pets and the Harry Potter ride(which is amazing)! None the less, Universal Studios is pretty awesome. Happy 6oth!
