Don’t Buy Ryzen 9000
AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series processors will undoubtedly go down as one of the best generations ever produced, but you probably shouldn't buy one, and here's why

  • Here's Why.. Clickbait bullshit titles get me more viewers.
  • @justmatt2655
Don't buy Ryzen 9000, don't buy Intel 13th/14th gen. Answer: go outside
  • @blacksama_
The only reason to not buy it, its wait for the X3D chip, AMD biggest rival is future AMD basically.
  • @Ag1Le
next video title: why you need to buy ryzen 9000! 😅
  • @Vialli100.
My 5900x will do me for a couple of years yet..

flashing bios is SUPER simple, and everyone should be flashing their bios whenever there's a new non-beta bios released for their board. it's something that happens every 6 months or so, so it's not too frequent, and so long as you have a flash drive, and a board with bios flashback (which all am5 boards have), it's a 10 minute job MAX and can dramatically enhance compatibility and reduce the number of problems that you have with your platform.
  • Do benchmarks or something useful when you don't have any topic to do a video about. This video is a great way to alienate audience. -1 from me.
  • @frijin490
Hate to break your bubble but 3D V-cache doesn't give any edge in 4K gaming or in productivity tasks.
  • I literally just bought a am5 board and a 7800x3d. My 13700k system has completely degraded to the point it cant run any games or any cpu load. Buy intel if you hate your money. Intel fanboys hitting that copium. Dont be brand loyal to anything
  • So, you shouldn't buy AMD 9000 until the the X3D chips come out? That makes some sense. But, saying "or possibly wait to see what Intel has to offer" is just plain silly. Why would anyone even consider Intel after the instability issues and the they way the responded?
  • @oz5150
Dump intel get ryzen b650/x670 are easy to bios update. I’m a noob and was able to follow a YouTube video.
  • @joshhardin666
3d vcache is really nice, but because of the AV and virtualization and heavy multitasking stuff that I do, I need at least 16 cores. and neither the 7950x3d nor the 9950x3d have/are going to have 3d cache on both ccd's which makes it really annoying to schedule cores properly - at least until we get a new windows scheduler that is aware of 3d vcache and how to schedule for it appropriately.
  • Zen 4 owners will have zero reason to upgrade to Zen 5, considering the 7800X3D and 7950X3D already top the charts over the 14900k/ks. So the majority of upgrades will come from Zen 3 and current 13th and 14th gen Intel users, with the IPC uplift being the greatest for the older AM4 platform. So if you're on Zen 4, you'll be good for the next couple of years. If AMD keeps up support for the AM5 socket, similar to AM4, then you'll have at least 3 or 4 generational options to choose from when it's time for an upgrade.
  • @Stiwen666
For gaming 7800X3D will still be the goat, until 9800X3D comes. For mixed usage Ryzen 9000 might be actually a really good compromise, as it will be better at productivity and probably not that far off 7800X3D in gaming. Intel should be totally out of question, until they come clear with everything what's going on with 13th and 14th gen.
  • I just upgraded to ryzen 7800x3d and my next upgrade will be ryzen 11800x3d. Hopefully they will increase the cores per CCD to 12/16. Otherwise will be a bit disapointing.
  • I have a 10850k.. anything i get will be an upgrade, waiting for next year to upgrade when all the parts will be out and cpu gets well tested
