Shoutout to everyone who killed themselves with strand more than the enemies did, I know I did.
  • @Guyy_1
Best theme in the DLC so far, when Oneirophobia actually drops in game I'm sure it will be as much of an absolute bop

Remember this well Guardian, Calus was no warrior. The power and leadership he had over the Cabal empire was an Ahamkara's. His supposed might aboard the Leviathan was his psions' might. The force he had to oppose the JuJu and Argos was his Cabals'. The utterly suffocating fear he imposed through the Nightmares was Nezarec's. The threat he posed to the Neomuni and the Traveler was the Witness'. Calus never had anything to call his own feats. He was a greedy, hungry, and evil emperor, and despite the fervor of his Loyalists and Shadows, he squandered it all. Sending them all to their deaths like worthless Thrall. Now, he has nothing. His army is mindless and fervorless. He has had to abandon all pride and self respect to pledge allegiance to a master who doesn't even care about him (might actually hate him) just to live in this pitiful world where no one except him loves him anymore. And the power he gains ends up being his downfall. If it wasn't for resonance, Calus probably would've faired better, but his one track mind of power for power's sake was everything to him. If he stayed with the psions and his army on the Leviathan instead of throwing them all away for the Witness, he may have been far stronger. But instead he was thrown away like a brittle toothpick against a mountain. This was no fight. This wasn't even regicide. This was an execution of a pathetic old man too narcasistic to understand when it is time to quit.

The song that played while I was frantically grappling away from a mad man with dual wielded axes whilst shooting at him with witherhoard

I am praying for your safety when you record the game version of Oneirophobia may Nezzy refrain from ratioing you
  • Ok so the moment at 8:30 made my cry like a little bch. I was soloing this on legendary when it first came out (who knows how many light levels below lol) , it was 2 in the morning, I was tired, I had tried this many times before and they target that music change right as the last tormentor is defeated and you're on that last quarter of health. Oh man... I remember crying so hard that it still gets me emotional a little. Ironically when I reached that breaking point is was the run where I actually managed to be successful. They did a fantastic job! ❤
  • @sweep_swoop
Honestly I struggled a lot more with Calus than I did with Savathun
  • @lamybad6655
i know they put the cabal stomp in this theme cause calus is cabal duh but, on a more lore side, they should def have eclipsed the whole darkness theme thats in like every darkness related ost over the cabal stomp as a way of showing that calus left all cabal tradition and betrayed his species as a whole for the darkness because his greed took over
  • @TheSimpless
Surprisingly I was able to do calus first try on legendary..... with a lot of grappling.... and trying not to get distracted from the dope boss music

Sweaty players get very upset about the idea of major villains being campaign bosses, but this fight proves it can be done in a way that still feels monumental and final.
