  • Gas Monkey fam, sometimes you just need someone to talk to! Head to betterhelp.com/gasmonkeygarage for 10% off your first month of therapy with BetterHelp and get matched with a therapist who will listen and help.
  • Every now and then the real Richard comes out. The moment in this video for me was when he talked about his time as a first responder. THANK YOU RICHARD.
  • What a nice guy getting the deal done on behalf of the family showing Richard around, probably not easy. My condolences.

The gentlemen that passed away was definitely a cool and classy guy. Between an awesome collection of cars, car club, racing, and the Charity...one fine guy! Condolences to the family. Congrats on being able to put together a deal where all parties seem satisfied. Looking forward to see what GMG does with these vehicles (sell directly, sell at auctions, or a combo of both). I'd bet most vehicles would sell fairly quickly and for a premium price. Good luck & all the best.
  • 3 of the cars in the collection were built by my family. The two 40 fords came from my family. The teal one was my dads and the blue was my brothers. Built by my dad and with my dads help which is why they looked so similar. The black fuel injected 57 Chevy was also my dads. Built by him when I was a kid. Glad to hear they found a good home.
  • I almost took that 68 Shelby for a joy ride once, True story, Tom was my former boss and a great guy, Still work for the company now ran by his son. Have gotten up close and personal with a few of these cars, Tom had the best taste and will be missed..
  • Giving $10,000 for the charity Richard was a touch of class. Fair play to you mate! It’s a wonderful collection, “outstanding” as Dennis would say. Are you going to have an auction? All the best to you.
  • @donthewellguy
Respect. I don’t think people can understand how hard it is to price an entire collection like that. Hats off to you for being kind, passionate, as well as respectful… ❤️👍🏻🇺🇸
  • Great video and a great collection of some really sweet cars. Please tell Chris, that 1966 was not the last year that you could get a big block in a full sized Chevy (as he stated) you could get a big block in a full sized Chevy, all the way up to 1976. Thanks for the video
  • Fellow TEXAN saying we appreciate you keeping the handshake a contract among men
  • @AndyRaysWorld
Great episode Monkeys , superb job donating 10 Grand too RR ❤ keep up the great work all at GMG 😎🤘
  • @dudeman1828
I was lucky enough to have been through this collection several times. Tom was a stand up guy and his annual food drive car show will be missed!
  • Richard I know what you mean about emergency services supplies. January 27th I tripped and fell in my front yard. I broke my neck in 2 places and destroyed the disks. Been partially paralyzed since. Point is, EMS did not have enough neck supporting supplies on board. Fortunately the one size neck brace they had, did the job until I got to the ER. 1st responders need more support!
  • I wish Richard could have seen the entire collection. That was probably just over half. Last time I was in that building, it was full. Tom was a great guy, was just happy to talk to anyone about cars.
  • Respect to the whole family for letting a wonderful collection go and a huge well done to Richard on a great purchase, im sure TOM would have approved Gas Monkeys Purchase. Respect to all involved.
  • @holdenmad111
Congrats Richard, You showed a lot of respect to the family and the charity they are involved in. sincerely hope the A990 (if i got that right) is one you keep in your personal collection.
  • @daviclar867
    1,000,000÷28 cars= $35,715 each plus memorabilia.
  • Like that they are calling them nests instead of graveyards. That’s respectful to the people who have put their lives into saving things when others would have thrown them away. Salute to you guys for that❤
  • @snoopu2601
Congratulations Richard and the team on buying the collection! You did a good thing put car's back in the hands that love them just as much as the previous owner's. That's what its all about and making some to keep doing what your doing.
  • @bklynman100
Man, I didn’t think it was possible to like Richard Rawlings any more than I already did, but to find out that he was a cop, fireman, and paramedic made me like him even more
