I agree with the number one spot. What 99% of excellent receptions have in common is that they contradict the direction the ball came from. Like throwing something in the air and then grabbing it with your hand. Seems logical. Baggio received a difficult ball by slowing it down just enough to allow him to catch up to it but always kept it going in the same general direction, only changing it enough to get past the GK. Anyone that has played football knows THAT ball control is insanely smooth and awesome but the one from Baggio is a "how did he do that?" moment.

zidane's control is smooth, ronaldinho's control is so natural, many others are good with the ball too. but very glad to see that touch from baggio was ranked No.1, for me it stands out among numerous beautiful touches, as the most technically solid, clean and breathtaking first touch with the ball ever.

Anyone who has played football, even just kicking a ball around with your mates in a school playground or at the park, knows how insanely difficult these controls are. These amazing players with almost superhuman skills are what make it so fun to watch the game.
