I'm not sure how to describe it but a feathered velociraptor just seems so... elegant, regal - grandiose? All in a very deadly way

that fall was the most breathtaking moment of my favorite scene in my favorite prehistoric life documentary.

It's so interesting to see the change in dinosaur perception that happened in my lifetime.

It makes sense. They were ambush predators so feathers would’ve been good for camouflage.

Feathers make dinosaurs just more interesting. I wish more people (particularly YEC) could accept the true nature of the greatest creation ever: animals.

I wish these things were still alive

Feathers in advanced flightless dinosaurs might have serve for the thermal regulation. Mammals have fur, advanced dinosaurs (either flying/avian or flightless) had feathers.
  • Its because the jurassic park dinos arent really dinos but abominations with mixed dna

2:22 I feel like comparing velociraptor to chicken or turkeys is kind of demeaning. A better way to put it is that they were like giant ground eagles.

Throughout this series the producers and experts, like Dr Naish, found the least likely environments, like a cliff face here, or an ocean for T-rex, to put their animals into. Ask yourself why would Velociraptor risk going after bony pterosaurs in dangerous environs when plump baby ornithischians were waiting for them out on the plains, the scrubs and the sands where their fossils were actually found?

😂 Agility build fr. Opted out of flight but took feathers for increase agility.
