I would love to see a video where you go to a little known destination/location you’ve heard a lot about but have never been to. And take us through the various steps you take to prepare for that trip including the type of research you do on weather, geography and show us where and how you get ideas for the shoot before your departure. Then take the trip and critique your planning. What you got right and what you got wrong.

I have just watched 6 reviews on the Z6III, and Nigel, this is the most beautiful and cinematic presentation on the web. Superior work, Sir. This video was so much more that specs and geek, but rather an amazing piece of work. Thank you.

Great review Nigel and love the scenic compositions. I always learn so much from your videos and appreciate your positivity. Cheers!

not been out for a while work etc, but after watching this makes me want to get out there again, Thanks Nigel 👍👍👍👍👍👍
  • Ok I want win that print. Before I hear complaints about Australia being at the end of the earth, NZ is further. Anyhow I really don't need to convince you and other English people what great destination Australia is and how welcome we would make you feel. We even speak English ( well sort of). I just finished a 6 day supported walk on the Larapinta Trail in Central Australia. In fact one of our guides was an amazing young English man. The colours, lighting, rugged ranges, white ghost gums, cool still waterways in deep chasms. Nigel you absolutely have to come to Australia. I can even recommend a very knowledgeable English guide.

Nigel, great presentation as usual. I always look forward to your videos. Your skill combined with your enthusiasm is a joy to watch. My wife, daughter and I are planning a trip to GB, inspired greatly by your videos. Due to my limited mobility, especially long or steep treks, I would love to see a future video of epic shots from your area which can be taken from easily accessible vantage points.

Hi Nigel, great video, and loved your comments re composition. How about doing some historical landscape photography in Orkney. Catching the historical sites like Skara Brae, or Yesnaby, or Ring of Brodgar etc.. but capturing the beauty of the Orkney landscape. btw enjoying seeing your van build series as well. have fun.
  • @vimal.moments
I would love to see you doing Astro photography. Capturing the Milk way. You have the gear, you have the location, then why not. Please.
  • @allenbuyck7957
I recently ordered my Z6iii and your video really helped support my decision. More videos about focus stacking would be great .
  • My suggestion ( although you would have to leave the camper van at home) is a trip to the South Island of New Zealand. I would love to see you work your magic in our amazing landscapes.
  • You should make a trip to the United States and visit Michigan! We have some nice beaches, a dark sky park in the U.P., and pretty cool lighthouses. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets over the lakes and nice little cabins to stay in. Some wonderful, beautiful landscapes 🖼️

Nigel, your video already so informative and some learning tips from your often explaining your techniques of the compositions and especially you alway showed the print out the actual shot that amazed me how good is the real shot on prints of different cameras. As for the print I really like it both Z8 and Z6 III comparison. For future video, if you could add some basic editing video if the shot over exposed or under exposed suitations as not to disrupt your current video style too much.

Best non-reviewie review to date. Thanks for the insights re: new camera and multitude of photography tips, as usual.
  • @littlesue2633
You are getting better with your wildlife images - well done, and they are lovely to see.🤗
  • @terrybowers4192
Great first view of the Z6! Makes me think a bit. Ideas for videos…have you ever looked as someone proudly shows you a photo shot from a car? Now, be safe, but what could a top flight photographer do with road photos? I’d like to see.
  • Finally it’s out. I don’t like the price, love the camera. But I must say the price is so close to the Z8 that one might be the better option. Shot puffins in Norway with the Z6. That was not easy, this Z6iii looks more forgiving.

Oh how I now wish I could afford to upgrade my camera after watching your video. I currently have a Nikon D750 and would love to upgrade it to one of the Z series and this looks very tempting. Saying that, I ideally would love a Z8, but this camera looks like it should meet my needs. However, even if I trade in my D750 and the five lenses I have to go with it for a Z6III+14-30mm f4+ 24-200mm, I think I would be at least a £1K short of what I would need to cover it. My first priority is purchasing the remaining Kase Filters I need, if I have anything leftover from renewing my car insurance, that is. I have fond memories of visiting Bamburgh and I even had the pleasure of witnessing a fabulous sunrise too. In fact, the Northumberland Coastline is absolutely wonderful with so many great locations to visit and all within 15 miles of each other too! It's another place I really need to visit again, even if it's a good four and a half hour drive away from me. In the meantime, I really should be scouting my immediate locality for good locations, as my home county of Lincolnshire is well off the beaten track for well known landscape locations. I keep thinking there must be something of interest, but my biggest problem is knowing what are the best conditions on the ground for shooting each different type of location.
  • I would love to see a video where a friend or family member chooses where you go and surprises you! Then you have to find compositions and subjects in real time. Sort of like an improv shoot.
  • @brettbaker7049
Most relevant review, I’ve seen so far, of this camera for landscape focused photographers. Looking forward to the Puffins! Also, glad to see you looking more happy in recent videos. Wish I had enough spare cash to get one of those master classes.
  • @tjsinva
With the embargo lifted, it looks like I'll be able to watch Z6III videos for the rest of the day. I think you should visit James Popsys in Wales and shoot castles for a few days. Carry on.👍🥂
