JD may be educated in one field, but being smart isn't a given. On Texas Paul when he was talking about people maybe educated in one field, but don't know everything about everything, a woman in the comments posted that her mother was a double phd, and is the stupidest person she knows.

Given the ages of both Biden and Trump. I am a little surprised that their is not a bigger focus on the VP pick for both men being more consequential. After all... John McCain's two biggest drawback in 2008 were his age combined with a very poor pick for vice president. John was 6-9 year younger in 2008 than Trump or Biden is going into the upcoming election. More than any election in history. People should be prepared for the idea that whoever wins, Trump or Biden. They might simply be too old to actually finish out the term.
