No jewelry, rare food, car keys, just a guy with things/beings that have helped him or shaped him into who he is today. Jon Bernthal is truly an aspirational man
  • I LOVE that he basically only have things of sentimental value. Says a lot about him and his character, what he truly values in life.
  • nothing can ever defeat a man who’s at peace with himself and with life and who has his priorities straight.

the way he didn’t stop looking at his wife’s picture while talking about her...what a lucky woman 😭

i didn't expect him to be this energetic n full of that positive energy
  • I respect Jon for considering his wife, child, bodyguard and dog as essential to his life. Bam Bam probably thinking, “I’m the real star.”

if you focus on the the details this guy is literally made for the punisher, how he values his daughter and best friend is like a build up to his punisher character.

jon bernthal is one of the most humble and kind people ever, and all his success is well earned for sure. such a kind dude.
  • I’ve run into him once at a TIFF event I was working at and he was by far the most professional and made all the time in the world for the people that wanted to meet him - he stood out to me amongst all his peers as being a genuine person. A friend of mine who’s in a known band ran into him the same night at a party, they were having drinks etc and concurred that he was an awesome person to meet; no ego about him at all.

He is one of the few people on this series that actually did not bring something they were trying to sell. I randomly watched a few of these and researched some of the more suspicious items and its just hilarious to me how many people brought something they are active spokespeople for... The dude picked a dog and a person... What is not to love.
  • He seems so thoughtful and sweet and emotionally intelligent and it's actually criminal how he's not a bigger actor in Hollywood.

the way he talks about his wife, daughter and Lauren..... yeah couldn't love him more, hopefully one day I'll find sb like him

So crazy how well he is at playing the "bad guy" when in reality he is such a humble man of substance and pure love

Arguably one of the only few GQ 10 Essentials that are truly essential to the person. I love this episode, it's beyond genuine. And Jon is goated.

having a woman as a bodyguard is extremely impressive and rare. He has a lot of trust in her as shown, she must be very good at her job, very cool.

This guy's come a long way since The Walking Dead, and he deserves it. I've yet to seen an actor as versatile as Jon Bernthal in this current generation; and he's absolutely incredible.

This guy was why TWD was so successful at the beginning, his energy and what he brought to the character completed the start of the WD
