Mahitos whole purpose was to give Yuji character development and a new character design😭

Mahito is like the one dude in a fighting game that won't stop chasing after you until you die.

Never realized that Yuji's soul punches were there from the beginning and not something he developed for the Shinjuku Showdown

Mahito in season one is like, "He's a disgusting villain, I despise him." but in season two he becomes "He's a disgusting villain, I hate him but I really do love him as a villain."

everybodys thoughts on mahito before killing jupei: this guys cursed technique is really cool! can't wait to see what they do with it! After killing junpei: when does he die.

I started audibly laughing when Mahito tripped and started just screaming and throwing rocks in fear. It really was so satisfying to see him like this,

You know you've made a good villain when pretty much everyone hate him. That is why Mahito is better than Sukuna for me personally.
  • Bro mahito's English and Japanese voice actors understood the assignment and delivered 😂

If a villan can make people pissed off and glad he “died” then the creator did a pretty damn good job

I left this on another video but the thing that i love about mahito is that he can metaphorically be a real person. If someone grows up only knowing the cruel side of humanity they could end up like mahito and enjoy the suffering of others. His character is also ironic because he was born from hatred and as long as people continue to hate mahito (humanity) the human curse will always be reborn. In my opinion even though mahito is a character who is cruel and wants you to hate him. you can beat him at his own game by doing the exact opposite of what he wants and accept/ love him. this is why the line “im you” is so important because Yuji accepts the worst parts of himself (aka mahito) and still continues to move forward. By not letting his soul waver by his own bad decisions and resolving to continue moving forward to be good/ repent. Yuji defeats mahito by letting go of his hatred/ drive for revenge and ‘kills’ mahito like a fly on the wall. Without a second thought or reason, just because he wanted to. Mahito is a character you’re supposed to hate, but have to love. and this is why he’s a top 5 character for me.

With all these popular villains having tragic backstories and good hearts deep down, its refreshing to see a villian that just loves being bad. I personally loved every second mahito was on screen because of the fact that he was a colossal dickhead.
  • The wolves randomly being placed in here makes me feel like he has ice domain expansion

Mahito screams is music to my ears and the sight of Mahito on his deathbed is the eye drops I need😭

Mahito is one of my favorite curses. His character is so well written. Along with his curse technique being frankly kinda terrifying.

Mahito is probably the most effective villain in new gen anime. He's a monster, the most vial thoughts of humanity given a shape. He is a complete freak, a curse that has no regard for human life and treats everyone and everything like a toy. Using people and breaking them simply because he can. And yet, I find him endlessly entertaining. You know when he's on screen shit is gonna go down and you just get this feeling of dread and (at least for me) excitement. What can this scumbag do next? He is also a perfect antagonist for Yuji. Forcing him to change and grow through his actions. That's why when Yuji finally gets to make Mahito suffer it is incredibly cathartic. He's not my favorite new gen antagonist, but he's right up there.
  • Mahito is a classic case of: “Bit off more than he could chew” He was obeying his nature by tormenting humans. Slave to his own hedonistic pleasures and dark traits. He pushed to himself and all the other disaster curses. By doing so he created his own worst enemy in Yuji. His desire to break Yuji led to his demise.
